As part of a rash of hoaxes throughout Wyoming, Buffalo Police Department officers responded to Buffalo High School on Monday morning for a report of an active shooter inside the school. The report was unsubstantiated. According to the police department, authorities received a report shortly before 8:30 a.m. that there was an active shooter inside the school. “Immediately following the call, school administration was notified of the potential threat,” a prepared statement from the department said.
