QUINCY (WGEM) - Twenty-five Fix or Flatten properties were elevated to the city’s legal department at Monday’s city council meeting. The Fix or Flatten list system is long and drawn out. However, the City of Quincy elevated 25 properties on the list to the city’s legal department. “We anticipate some of the cases would resolve before they end up in court, but this is the first step in the process,” said Michael Seaver, Quincy director of inspection and enforcement.

KEOKUK (WGEM) - Main Street is closed from McKinley Avenue to Belknap Boulevard in Keokuk, Iowa, after a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Main Street and McKinley Avenue in front of Hy-Vee. Police said two people suffered serious injuries and were airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The Keokuk Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, Lee County Emergency Medical Services and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded.
