LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Michigan man was sentenced on Monday for messaging an undercover cop who was posing as a 14-year-old girl. According to court documents, 44-year-old Brad Strickland of Troy, Michigan was sentenced to at least 45 years and at most 50 years in prison for child enticement using an electric communication device. The Lincoln Police Department’s Special Victims Unit arrested 44-year-old Brad Strickland of Troy, Michigan on May 29, 2025 at a hotel near 56th and R streets.

Family moves historic 1800s home outside of southwest Lincoln

The home was going to be demolished by the landowners, who wanted to expand their business, so the family was faced with a decision. With too much historic and sentimental value attached to the house, the family of 13 decided to move the entire structure.
