Read Full Bio →Andrew Minegar currently works at MIRS following a 10-year stint with CBS affiliate WWMT News Channel 3 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Prior to working with WWMT, Minegar graduated with a degree in Journalism from Western Michigan University (WMU). He also founded a chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists at WMU and served as an intern at WMUK 102.1, an NPR-affiliate in Kalamazoo. As well as freelance work with several organizations in West Michigan since 2004.

I wrote ad copy for the Alcona County Review. My first reporter jobs was freelance while at Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
