EDMONTON, Ky. (WBKO) - Metcalfe County is cleaning up after floodwaters struck the area Sunday, damaging roads, homes and businesses on the west side of the county. County Judge Executive, Larry Wilson, said the flooding was among the most severe he has witnessed. “I was in total shock when I was out. I’ve seen floods. I grew up in a floodplain area, and I’ve seen a lot of flooding in my lifetime. But I think this was the most severe I had seen.
