GARRETSON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The quaint town of Garretson has a new place for families to gather in an old, familiar location. It is the 120-year-old building on Main Street, most recently home to restaurants. “Ice cream and coffee. Kind of go hand in hand,” said Amber Meyer, as she overlooked the ice cream cooler. About a year ago, Meyer had a dream of opening up a business. She also realized something when she came into town a bit early, before school was out, to get her kids.
