CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A pleasant Friday evening and beautiful Saturday are on tap across the Tri-State before another round of strong storms arrives Sunday. No weather issues expected for Reds Fireworks (& Drone Show) Friday. Patchy river fog may develop overnight and early Saturday morning, but it should not cause major travel issues. Saturday will be the pick of the weekend with highs in the mid-80s, slightly lower humidity and a mix of sun and clouds.

Storm Chances Continue Before a Cooler Weekend

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A First Alert Weather Day remains in effect through Friday morning as heat, humidity and a few rounds of thunderstorms continue across the Tri-State. Most communities will stay dry through the evening, but any isolated storm that develops could produce brief heavy rain and gusty winds. Heat indices will climb into the 90s thanks to dew points near 70 degrees. The greater concern arrives overnight and early Friday morning as a cold front moves through the area.

Steamy stretch continues before weekend cooldown

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The string of First Alert Weather Days continues, but relief is finally showing up in the forecast. Thursday remains a First Alert Weather Day for both heat and the chance for a few strong storms early in the morning. Most of the rain and storm activity should move through between roughly 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. before drying takes over for much of the afternoon. Once the rain exits, the heat and humidity will quickly ramp back up.
