LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — While plenty of Arkansans saved their energy for fireworks later in the day, thousands kicked off the Fourth of July by lacing up their running shoes and listening for a starting horn. The Firecracker Fast 5k returned Fourth of July morning for its 50th year, with Fleet Feet hosting the annual race and drawing runners of all ages to celebrate the holiday together. “This big race is about traditions, I would say,” Noelle Coughlan, Fleet Feet Co-Owner, said.
