Two teenagers face charges for murder of man in Brooklyn Park, say police

Police identified the victim as 20-year-old Tyrese Malik Williams. Dabron Tyreek Johnson, 17, and Dicouisey Orlando Wilson, 18, both from Baltimore, were charged with the murder of Williams. Johnson was charged as an adult. A third person, Tykese Markel Hammond, 20, of Baltimore, was arrested on an open warrant in Frederick County, Maryland, for failing to appear in court for vehicle theft charges. Two other teenagers were released to caregivers, according to police.

Poll shows former Baltimore mayor Dixon ahead of Scott, other challengers

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A new poll conducted by the Sheila Dixon campaign shows the former mayor with a 3% lead over incumbent Brandon Scott and well ahead of other challengers in the race. Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group surveyed 400 registered Democrats between February 24 and 26 who were likely to vote in the primary. The poll has a margin of error of +/-5%. Other people vying to win the Democratic primary are former federal prosecutor Thiru Vignarajah and businessman Bob Wallace.

Two teenagers arrested in Baltimore County for city carjacking, say police

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Two teenagers were arrested in Baltimore County yesterday after a carjacking in Baltimore City, according to city police. The carjacking happened just before 4:45 p.m. yesterday in the 4000 block of East Northern Parkway. A man called police after a group of teenagers carjacked him at gunpoint and drove off, according to police.
