CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people are in custody in connection with a carjacking in Lakeview earlier this month that left one man dead, Chicago police said Friday. The first incident took place at about 3:49 a.m. on February 11 in the 700-block of Waveland Avenue. Police said a 22-year-old man and a 38-year-old man were both inside a parked vehicle when two armed male suspects approached. The suspects demanded the victims' vehicle and shot the 22-year-old man in the chest and back, police said.
