WHANet: Weighted Hierarchical Attention for Lightweight SR
Abstract Image super-resolution (SR) is a computer vision task that reconstructs high-resolution (HR) images from low-resolution (LR) images using algorithms. Current Transformer architectures typically employ modules in a sequential arrangement, which often results in the loss of significant effective features across certain layers. Additionally, the Transformer-based models extract feature information through local windows, but they are prone to losing global features.

Single-cell transcriptome sequencing for opening the blood-brain barrier through specific mode electroacupuncture stimulation
eLife Assessment This study presents a valuable finding that the blood-brain barrier (BBB) may be modulated through specific modes of electroacupuncture stimulation. The data were collected and analyzed using a solid and validated methodology, and can be used as a starting point for functional studies of the BBB for drug delivery across healthy and diseased states. The work will be of broad interest to scientists working in the field of drug delivery and drug development.

Phenethyl isothiocyanate ameliorates liver injuries secondary to inflammatory bowel disease
Phenethyl isothiocyanate ameliorates liver injuries secondary to inflammatory bowel disease Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is often accompanied by secondary liver injury which further evolves into various hepatobiliary disorders. The pathogenesis of secondary liver injury involves many different mechanisms including inflammation, pyroptosis, oxidative stress, and heat shock response.

Anomalous Temperature-Dependent Phonon Anharmonicity and Strain Engineering of Thermal Conductivity in β-Ga2O3
β-Ga2O3 is a promising candidate for high-performance devices such as high-power electronics, but the low lattice thermal conductivity κ seriously hinders its application. In this paper, by comparing the κ at 200–700 K calculated by the temperature-dependent and fixed second- and third-order force constants, the softening of optical phonons and the weakening of anharmonicity with increasing temperature are revealed.

Transcriptomic Analysis of Rat Cerebral Cortex Reveals the Potential Mechanism of Electroacupuncture Opening Blood Brain Barrier
Introduction Vascular endothelial cells in the brain are closely linked to each other through various junction proteins, and interact with pericytes and astrocytes to form a special blood-brain barrier (BBB) barrier system. BBB strictly limits the entry of neurotoxic substances, inflammatory factors and immune cells in the blood into central nervous system (CNS), and excludes the metabolites and neurotoxic substances in CNS from the brain.
Clinical outcomes and uroflowmetry assessment in patients with apical prolapse after laparoscopic uterosacral ligament suspension
Abstract Objective The aim was to evaluate the voiding function and voiding dysfunction 3 months after laparoscopic uterosacral ligament suspension (LUSLS). We identified risk factors for postoperative voiding dysfunction. Study design This retrospective study included 57 women with apical prolapse who underwent LUSLS with stage II or greater apical prolapse and without advanced anterior vaginal prolapse (stage III or IV). Data were collected from electronic medical records.

Medium-term effects on voiding function after pelvic reconstructive surgery of advanced pelvic organ prolapse: Is postoperative uroflowmetry necessary?
Abstract Objective To evaluate the necessity of postoperative repetitive uroflowmetry and postvoid residual volume (PVR) in women with advanced anterior vaginal prolapse. Method Women with anterior vaginal prolapse stages III and IV who underwent surgery were included in this prospective cohort study. The surgical procedures included laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy (LSC), transvaginal mesh repair (TVM) and native tissue repair (NTR).

Changes in Voiding Function after Transvaginal Mesh Repair for Advanced Anterior Vaginal Prolapse
Abstract Objective This study evaluated changes in voiding function at 3 months and 1 year after transvaginal mesh (TVM) repair in women with advanced anterior vaginal prolapse (AVP) and identified predictive risk factors of postoperative voiding dysfunction (PVD). Study design Women with stage≥3 AVP who underwent TVM repair surgery were included in this retrospective cohort study.
A scalable self-priming fractal branching microchannel nets chip for digital PCR
As an absolute quantification method at the single-molecular level, digital PCR has been widely used in many bioresearch fields, such as next generation sequencing, single cell analysis, and gene editing detection and so on. But the existing digital PCR methods still have some disadvantages, including high cost, sample loss, and complicated operation. In this work, we develop an exquisite scalable self-priming fractal branching microchannel nets digital PCR chip.
