HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - We’re featuring two crimes this week. One happened last month at a gas station. The other happened this month - at a local Walmart. Huntsville police say on April 1, a man came to work at the Chevron on Meridian Street and found the door to the office had been broken into. The employee noticed money missing, and the internet box was gone. And on May 4, someone left their purse in a shopping cart at the Walmart on Sutton Road.

On April 24, police say a person rode up to the Foundry Apartments on a scooter. The person broke into the maintenance room and took $1,000 worth of tools before leaving.
