Large language models (LLMs) are increasingly used for code generation, yet most evaluations still focus on whether generated code passes benchmark test suites. Functional correctness alone, however, provides only a limited view of quality: benchmark tests are often incomplete, and passing them does not guarantee that code is maintainable, reliable, or well-structured.
Reconfigurable multibeam engineering of Marangoni convection for programmable optofluidic steering
Abstract Optofluidic manipulation provides a powerful route for guiding micro- and nanoparticles, yet conventional light-induced flow systems often suffer from limited controllability, unstable flow patterns, and poor reconfigurability. Here, we demonstrate programmable optofluidic steering based on multibeam engineering of Marangoni convection technique (MEMCT) around optothermally generated air bubbles.
Effects of austenitizing holding time on the stage-dependent corrosion behavior of bainitic weathering steel
Abstract Austenitizing holding time can alter the microstructural state of bainitic weathering steel and thereby influence corrosion evolution, but its role during different corrosion stages remains unclear. In this study, low-carbon bainitic weathering steel specimens were prepared by holding at 1200 °C for 15, 60, and 120 min followed by identical isothermal treatment, and their corrosion behavior was investigated in a simulated marine atmospheric environment.
Transition of atmospheric corrosion behavior and mechanism of Q420 weathering steel on the Sichuan-Tibet Plateau: critical elevation effect
Abstract Extreme environmental conditions on the Sichuan-Tibet Plateau, particularly intense radiation and temperature fluctuations, pose significant challenges to authentic corrosion monitoring. To address this, this study proposes a comprehensive strategy combining Fe-Ti dual-element resistance sensing with survival analysis. Continuous thickness loss rate data for Q420 weathering steel were acquired spanning the entire elevation gradient of the plateau by eliminating temperature interference.

Knowledge-distillation-inspired semi-supervised equalizer in high-speed IMDD systems
In this Letter, a knowledge-distillation-inspired cascaded multi-modulus algorithm-based deep neural network (KD-CMMA-DNN) scheme is proposed to achieve a high-performance semi-supervised equalizer in intensity-modulation and direct detection (IMDD) systems. In this scheme, a pretrained teacher model is utilized to assist the CMMA model by a specially designed distillation loss function, enabling the model to exhibit superior performance compared to a typical blind CMMA equalizer.
Fourier single-pixel spectral imaging via local low-rank tensor nuclear norm and deep tensor priors
The imaging quality of single-pixel spectral imaging (SSI) methods is poor at a low sampling ratio (SR). To tackle this problem, a new Fourier single-pixel spectral imaging (FSSI) technique is proposed. Firstly, we introduce the low-rank tensor nuclear norm (TNN) to characterize the correlation between spectral images. Compared with the conventional method, TNN reconstructs image details better but brings image artifacts simultaneously.
Three-dimensional mapping of the altermagnetic spin splitting in CrSb - Nature Communications
Abstract Altermagnetism, a kind of collinear magnetism that is characterized by a momentum-dependent band and spin splitting without net magnetization, has recently attracted considerable interest. Finding altermagnetic materials with large splitting near the Fermi level necessarily requires three-dimensional k-space mapping. While this is crucial for spintronic applications and emergent phenomena, it remains challenging.

Valence transition and termination-dependent surface states in the topological Kondo semimetal YbPtBi
The Yb-terminated and Bi-terminated (111) surface electronic structure of topological Kondo semimetal YbPtBi is investigated using both density-functional-theory (DFT) -based calculations and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). The cleavage plane is found to be between Yb-layers and Bi-layers in both experiment and theory, and the broken inversion symmetry ensures the Yb-terminated surface does not mix with the Bi-terminated surface.

Research on Panel Flutter Considering the Effect of Convective Active Cooling
Abstract : The aeroelastic characteristics of the panel under the action of coolant are obviously different from the flutter characteristics of the traditional panel. In order to solve this problem, the dynamics model of the panel flutter was established in this paper based on von Karman’s large deformation theory and the Kirchhoff–Love hypothesis.
Two-Dimensional Exponential Sparse Discriminant Local Preserving Projections
Abstract : The two-dimensional discriminant locally preserved projections (2DDLPP) algorithm adds a between-class weighted matrix and a within-class weighted matrix into the objective function of the two-dimensional locally preserved projections (2DLPP) algorithm, which overcomes the disadvantage of 2DLPP, i.e., that it cannot use the discrimination information.
Robust Exponential Graph Regularization Non-Negative Matrix Factorization Technology for Feature Extraction
3.1. The Motivation of REGNMF NMF as a non-linear and non-negative constraint matrix factorization dimensionality reduction method has the advantages of interpretability, simple calculation, physical meaning, large-scale data processing, and small storage space, so it is extensively applied to blind source separation, pattern recognition, time series segmentation, document clustering [38], recommender systems [39], gene detection, and other fields [40].
Open-Set Recognition Model Based on Negative-Class Sample Feature Enhancement Learning Algorithm
Abstract : In order to solve the problem that the F1-measure value and the AUROC value of some classical open-set classifier methods do not exceed 40% in high-openness scenarios, this paper proposes an algorithm combining negative-class feature enhancement learning and a Weibull distribution based on an extreme value theory representation method, which can effectively reduce the risk of open space in open-set scenarios.

Manifold Regularized Principal Component Analysis Method Using L2,p-Norm
Abstract : The main idea of principal component analysis (PCA) is to transform the problem of high-dimensional space into low-dimensional space, and obtain the output sample set after a series of operations on the samples. However, the accuracy of the traditional principal component analysis method in dimension reduction is not very high, and it is very sensitive to outliers.
Adaptive optics compensation of orbital angular momentum beams using a hybrid input-output algorithm with complementary binary masks
Abstract For orbital angular momentum (OAM) beams, we show that the twin-image problem in the single-intensity-measurement hybrid input–output algorithm (HIOA) severely impairs the phase retrieval performance and propose a very simple method to overcome this problem.

The Limits of Effective Degrees of Freedom in UCA based Orbital Angular Momentum Multiplexed Communications
Abstract Orbital angular momentum (OAM) multiplexing technique has recently emerged and generated widespread interests since the OAM was discovered as a property of electromagnetic wave and acoustic wave. It was widely acknowledged that OAM multiplexing can achieve very high effective degrees of freedom (EDOF) and improve the spectral efficiency in optical, radio and acoustic communications.
Millimeters long super flexible Mn5Si3@SiO2 electrical nanocables applicable in harsh environments
Abstract Providing high performance electrical nano-interconnects for micro-nano electronics that are robust in harsh environments is highly demanded. Today, electrical nano-interconnects based on metallic nanowires, e.g. Ag and Cu, are limited by their positive physicochemical reactivity and ductility under large strain (i.e. irreversible dislocations and local necking-down elongation) at high temperatures or in strong oxidizing and acidic environments.

Enhanced electromagnetic wave absorption performance of a novel carbon-coated Fe3Si nanoparticles in the amorphous SiCO ceramics matrix
The low-frequency electromagnetic absorption and excellent thermo-stability are the significant characters for absorbers. Here, carbon-coated Fe3Si nanoparticles in amorphous SiCO ceramics (SiCO/C/Fe3Si) were successfully obtained via polymer-derived ceramics (PDC) route from a ferric acetylacetonate modified-polysilyacetylene (PSA). By adjusting the magnetic components, the absorbers showed the tunable structure and different bandwidth.
