Antivaxxers' efforts to undermine confidence in COVID-19 vaccines continue apace
Think of this post as a continuation of a series related to COVID-19 vaccines. You might recall that, right before the New Year, I predicted an impending tsunami of adverse events (AEs) falsely attributed to COVID-19 vaccines that would be spread by the antivaccine movement as the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines found their way into more and more arms around the world and more and more bad things happened to people by coincidence soon after COVID-19 vaccination.

Jackie Robinson meant everything to me. Before I was a teen-ager, I was telling my father that I was going to be a ballplayer, and he was telling me, ''Ain't no colored ballplayers.'' Then Jackie broke into the Brooklyn Dodgers lineup in 1947, and Daddy never said that again.

If I could have picked a moment to retire right on the spot, it would have been opening day, 1975. It was my first game as a Milwaukee Brewer after 21 years with the Braves. Somehow, I reached first base in that game and then took off to steal second.
Measuring Greatness
HALL OF FAME | KEN GRIFFEY JR. | CLASS OF 2016 MEASURING GREATNESS 22 years | 2,671 games | 2,781 hits | 1,836 RBI Numbers don’t begin to tell the story of Ken Griffey Jr.’s Hall of Fame career. They don’t tell you how graceful The Kid chased down balls in the Mariners' outfield, they don’t paint a picture of his infectious, trademark grin, and they certainly can’t define what this legend meant for the city of Seattle.
