Therapeutic targeting of AREL1 in hepatic stellate cells attenuates MASH-related liver fibrosis
Abstract Fibrosis resulting from metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is increasingly recognized as the predominant form of liver fibrosis. Although the activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) is essential for liver fibrosis, the mechanisms underlying HSC activation in MASH remain inadequately understood. Integrated analysis of large-scale single-cell and single-nucleus RNA sequencing data from human healthy and fibrosis samples reveals a distinct subpopulation of HSCs in MASH.
Chiral superfluorescence from perovskite superlattices at room temperature
Abstract Superfluorescence (SF) is the collective emission of intense, coherent light from an interacting ensemble of quantum emitters1,2,3,4. Although SF has been observed in several solid-state materials5,6,7,8, the spontaneous generation of circularly polarized SF from chiral materials (chiral SF) has not been realized9,10.
SHP2 in TAMs promoted the survival of gastric adenocarcinoma via suppressing the P38/ERK1/2/SP1/BRD4/STING induced inflammation and ROS

Synergistic induction of fertilization-independent embryogenesis in rice egg cells by paternal-genome-expressed transcription factors - Nature Plants
Abstract In flowering plants, rapid activation of the zygotic genome occurs after fertilization1,2,3, but there is limited knowledge of the molecular pathways underlying embryo initiation4. In rice, a key role is played by the transcription factor BABY BOOM 1 (OsBBM1), initially expressed from the paternal genome1. Ectopic OsBBM1 expression in the egg cell can override the fertilization requirement, giving rise to parthenogenetic progeny5.

Method to eliminate pseudoscopic issue in an integral imaging 3D display by using a transmissive mirror device and light filter
Abstract We propose an optical method to eliminate pseudoscopic issue in the integral imaging three-dimensional (3D) display by using a transmissive mirror device (TMD) and a light filter. Object light rays passing through the TMD can form an undistorted and depth inverted real image. Therefore, the TMD can eliminate the pseudoscopic issue existing in the traditional integral imaging. However, two ghost images appeared in integral imaging using the TMD.

Gate-controlled VO2 phase transition for high-performance smart windows
Abstract Vanadium dioxide (VO2) is a promising material for developing energy-saving “smart windows,” owing to its infrared thermochromism induced by metal-insulator transition (MIT). However, its practical application is greatly limited by its relatively high critical temperature (~68°C), low luminous transmittance (<60%), and poor solar energy regulation ability (<15%). Here, we developed a reversible and nonvolatile electric field control of the MIT of a monoclinic VO2 film.
