Having mentored students who have gone on the receive prestigious honors such as the Nupur Dinesh Thekdi Award and the Rangos Creative Thinking Award, Jef Boeke focuses his work in the field of genetics and genomics as a professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and more recently, NYU school of Medicine. Jef Boeke is also the founder and director of the
institute for Systems Genetics at NYU.
