More hot temperatures ahead Fire danger stays elevated Relief by Sunday THURSDAY NIGHT: Overnight lows will be mild in the 40s and 50s with clear skies. Red flag warnings expire at 8 PM, but dry time and wind sticks around overnight too. FRIDAY: Temperatures warm back into the upper 80s and 90s for most with dry time and sunshine. There will be a little bit of increasing cloud cover in the later afternoon hours and a small chance for a storm in the southeastern corner of the state.

Windy and hot for Wednesday ahead in southern Colorado

Mild overnight lows Hot again for Wednesday with wind The next shot at moisture is Sunday TUESDAY NIGHT: A few lingering strong storms could pop up around southeastern Colorado. Hail and gusty winds are the main concerns. Otherwise, most along I-25 will stay dry with minimal cloud cover and lows in the 50s and low 60s. WEDNESDAY: Winds will continue to stay elevated up to 45 MPH with some elevated fire danger concerns. Afternoon highs will be in the 90s for most in southern Colorado.

HOT ahead for Friday! The weekend stays hot Dry time ahead too THURSDAY NIGHT: Overnight lows will be mild in the 50s for many across southern Colorado. In the early morning hours of Friday clouds will clear. FRIDAY: The day will start with sunshine, and clouds are expected to gradually move in throughout the afternoon. Temperatures will be even warmer than today with many seeing 80s and 90s.
