The increasing penetration of renewable energy challenges frequency stability due to high variability and declining inertia. Traditional frequency security constrained dispatch methods fail to capture regional frequency heterogeneity and spatially correlated stochastic disturbances, resulting in inaccurate frequency security enforcement. To address this, a regional frequency constrained dispatch method is proposed, considering the spatially joint stochastic disturbances and contingencies.

Retinoic-Acid-Derived Ionizable Lipids Enable Spleen-Selective Antigen Expression for mRNA Cancer Vaccination
1 Introduction The therapeutic efficacy of mRNA cancer vaccines is determined not only by the magnitude of antigen production but also by the tissue distribution and cellular source of antigen expression in vivo [1-5]. Systemically administered RNA formulations that enable antigen expression in dendritic cells or other professional antigen-presenting cells can elicit robust antitumor immunity [6-11].
Cell-type specific early perception of nine phytohormones revealed by single-nucleus transcriptomics in Arabidopsis
Abstract Plant development and stress responses are coordinated through phytohormone-mediated gene networks, yet resolving their spatiotemporal crosstalk remains challenging. Here, we generate a single-nucleus transcriptomic atlas of Arabidopsis seedlings, capturing early (0.5 h, 3 h) responses to 9 hormones across ~500,000 nuclei, including auxin, cytokinin, ABA, gibberellin, strigolactone, brassinosteroid, ethylene, JA, and SA.
Audio Embodied Intelligence: Auditory Perception, Reasoning, and Interaction for Multimodal Agents
You are already at the latest version Auditory learning is becoming increasingly important for embodied intelligence because sound provides information that may be unavailable or ambiguous in vision and language alone, including out-of-view events, physical interactions, spatial structure, task intent, and human affective states. Current research is progressing from isolated auditory perception toward embodied agents that use sound to support reasoning, action, and interaction.
Condensation of MATCAP promotes CENP-E-dependent chromosome congression in mitosis
Abstract Accurate segregation of mitotic chromosomes requires pre-anaphase alignment driven by microtubule-based motor proteins. Tubulin detyrosination is essential to guide CENP-E-driven chromosome congression in mitosis. However, the mechanisms of action and physiochemical properties of the detyrosinases for decoding CENP-E motility remain elusive.

Mitochondria-derived vesicles with bioenergetic units from brown adipose tissue attenuate cardiac remodeling post-myocardial infarction
Abstract Post-myocardial infarction remodeling is a major cause of heart failure, with contributions from multiple organs. Brown adipose tissue protects against cardiovascular disease, but the mediators of brown adipose tissue-heart crosstalk and their roles in cardiac remodeling remain elusive. Here, we show that mitochondria-derived vesicles from brown adipose tissue transfer to cardiac macrophages and attenuate pathological remodeling via anti-inflammatory effects.

Serotonergic System‐Targeted Nucleic Acid Hydrogel Coordinates Excitability Restoration and Circuit Reconstruction for Spinal Cord Injury Therapy
1 Introduction Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a critical central nervous system (CNS) trauma that may result in permanent paralysis, sensory impairments, and autonomic dysfunction [1, 2]. The majority of individuals with SCI sustain anatomically incomplete injuries, leaving spared spinal circuits, primarily composed of local interneurons, capable of serving as relay networks for transmitting commands across the lesion [3-5].
Real-time life-cycle seismic fragility assessment of coastal bridges: a novel approach using deep temporal neural networks
As global climate change and infrastructure ageing accelerate, particularly in coastal regions, the demand for real-time life-cycle seismic management of bridges and rapid post-earthquake response is increasing. Traditional seismic fragility assessments, based on static models or finite element (FE) analyses at specific time points, are computationally intensive and inefficient, and fail to meet practical decision-making needs.
Building Critical Geographers: Academic Social Media as a Relational Pedagogical Interface
Abstract This commentary argues for reconceptualizing academically-curated social media platforms (ASMPs) as relational pedagogical interfaces to foster critical thinking in geography education. Using the case of Barbecue Geographers—an influential geography-focused platform in China—we illustrate how such an interface creates a synergistic ecosystem. For instructors, it acts as a dynamic resource to democratize disciplinary frontiers and restructure pedagogical authority.

When Beijing makes a climate pledge, the world should listen - Asia Times
A few years ago, one of us (Myles Allen) asked a Chinese delegate at a climate conference why Beijing had gone for “carbon neutrality” for its 2060 target rather than “climate neutrality” or “net zero,” both of which were more fashionable terms at the time. Her response: “Because we know what it means.” It was a revealing answer: China, unlike many other countries, tends not to make climate commitments that it doesn’t understand or intend to keep.

Full article: Effects of esketamine infusion on tourniquet-induced hypertension in patients undergoing below-knee orthopedic surgery: protocol for a randomized controlled trial
Abstract Introduction Application of a tourniquet reduces surgical bleeding while causing pain and tourniquet-induced hypertension (TIH). Deeper anesthesia and additional opioids are often insufficient to mitigate TIH but are associated with prolonged recovery and complications. Herein, we describe the protocol for a clinical trial investigating whether intraoperative esketamine infusion would reduce the rate of TIH during below-knee orthopedic surgery.
Optical axis calibration method using a 4-DOFM system for linear guide detection
In laser measurement, geometric error detection of long-travel linear guides is challenging because of air disturbances. This Letter proposes an optical axis calibration approach for long-travel linear guide detection using a four-degree-of-freedom measurement (4-DOFM) system. The 4-DOFM system can measure two straightness errors and two angular errors (pitch and yaw). The measured long-travel guide rail is divided into numerous sections for separate detection.
