CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A Boone County woman is facing prison time after admitting to stealing more than $160,000 in veterans and Social Security benefits, federal prosecutors said. Barbara Ferrell, 63, of Seth pleaded guilty Wednesday to the theft of government funds, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia.
