The Mayor announced the funding was approved and the money will be used for Marion’s wastewater system to rehabilitate and improve aging infrastructure.

Winnfield crews working to fix water line break

WINNFIELD, La. (KNOE) - Winnfield water crews are repairing a water line break in front of the pumphouse. Power has been restored to the pumphouse. The city said no boil advisory is necessary at this time. Customers may experience low water pressure until repairs are completed and the water tank has had time to rebuild to normal operating levels. The water crew is working to complete the repair as quickly and safely as possible, according to a city Facebook post. Copyright 2026 KNOE.
