An Anoikis-Related Gene Signature Associated With Stromal Remodeling and Clinical Outcome in Gastric Cancer
1 Introduction Gastric cancer (GC) remains a major global health burden, with approximately 969,000 new cases and 660,000 deaths worldwide in 2022 (Patel et al. 2026; Bray et al. 2024). Despite advances in surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy (Joshi and Badgwell 2021), recurrence and metastasis remain major challenges in advanced GC.
MIIP Inhibits Colorectal Cancer Progression by Modulating Neutrophils Infiltration and Neutrophil Extracellular Trap Formation
1 Introduction Colorectal cancer (CRC) ranks third in incidence and second in mortality among all malignancies worldwide, and most deaths are ultimately attributable to liver metastasis [1, 2]. Tumor progression is driven not only by tumor cells but also by interplay with the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) [3].
Intelligent diagnosis model for rolling bearing faults based on multi-representation feature fusion
Abstract Rolling-bearing vibration signals under variable load and strong noise are non-stationary and difficult to characterize with a single representation. This study proposes MultiFuseAttenNet, which combines 16 interpretable numerical descriptors with WSST time–frequency maps through a SENet numerical branch and a Swin Transformer image branch. On the 48-kHz drive-end laboratory setting, the single test run reached 99.95% Accuracy.
Integrative Multi-Omics Analysis Identifies Thrombosis-Associated Molecular Features Linked to Germline Susceptibility and Immune Cell Communication in Gastric Cancer
1 Introduction Gastric cancer (GC) remains a major global health burden, accounting for approximately one million new cases and over 650,000 deaths each year worldwide (Sundar et al. 2025). The incidence of GC shows marked geographic variation, with a particularly high burden in East Asia (GBD 2023 Cancer Collaborators 2025).
Glycoprotein-induced phase separation drives unconventional secretion of galectin-3
Abstract The mechanism of unconventional protein secretion remains an unresolved issue. Here, we describe an unconventional protein secretion pathway for galectin-3 that is mediated by phase separation and condensation. Using four lysosomal damage models, we observed a rapid, pronounced release of galectin-3 in large, non-exosomal particles. This secretion is driven by glycoprotein-induced galectin-3 phase separation and is independent of pyroptosis and secretory autophagy.

An F1-score-weighted ensemble of deep learning models for enhanced cloud detection in remote sensing imagery
Abstract Cloud detection algorithms in remote sensing imagery exploit spectral and spatial characteristics, either independently or synergistically, to facilitate the discrimination between cloud and underlying surfaces. Individual cloud detection methods manifest unique operational advantages but suffer from inherent limitations, such as bright surface misclassification and thin cloud omission, leading to unstable performance across heterogeneous landscapes.
Effect of lactic acid bacteria inoculation and urea on fermentation quality and aerobic stability of sugarcane top silage
Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Lactiplantibacillus paraplantarum ST1 and Limosilactobacillus fermentum G3 and their combination with urea on the aerobic stability of sugarcane tops silages. The fermentation profile was not affected by the interaction between urea and lactic acid bacteria (LAB), except for the lactic acid content (P = 0.012). Lactic acid content was higher in LAB silage (P = 0.008).
DNA-PK-mediated CRTC2 phosphorylation promotes NHEJ and suppresses antitumor immunity via relocation to repair complexes
|
Abstract Genotoxic stress or exogenous DNA damage induces transcription arrest, enabling efficient DNA repair. Transcription activators directly participate in DNA damage repair (DDR), but the trans-regulatory mechanisms linking transcription and DDR remain elusive. Here we reveal that CRTC2 switches from a transcriptional coactivator to a DNA-damage responder. CRTC2 promotes non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) in vitro and in vivo.

In planta engineering of polysialylated glycoproteins using salmonid polysialyltransferases
Abstract Polysialic acid (polySia) is a glycan polymer composed of a linear chain of sialic acid residues detected on a small set of proteins in mammalian cells. This negatively charged glycan modulates various cellular functions and has potential biomedical applications. However, the targeted synthesis of polySia remains challenging due to biosynthetic and structural complexity.
Integrating single-cell RNA-seq and machine learning to dissect polyamine metabolism in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease
Abstract Background: Dysregulated immunometabolism is central to the pathogenesis of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Although polyamines contribute to cellular stress responses and immune-cell function, their cell-type-specific transcriptional associations within the hepatic immune microenvironment remain incompletely understood. Methods: We assessed polyamine metabolism in MASLD at the single-cell level using AUCell, UCell, singscore, and AddModuleScore.
Hepatocellular- cholangiocarcinoma collision tumor: a case report
Abstract Hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma collision tumor is an extremely rare primary liver malignancy, defined as histologically distinct hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) growing adjacently with clear demarcation, which is easily misdiagnosed due to overlapping features with combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma and metastatic liver cancer, and lacks standardized diagnostic and treatment evidence.
Engineering low-symmetry colloidal crystals with optical anisotropies
Abstract Engineered low-symmetry colloidal crystals are emerging as promising performance-enhancing alternatives to natural materials for optical devices. However, current synthesis methods cannot precisely control structural features such as the orientation of the optical axes in these crystals. Here, DNA-modified nanorods and nanopentabipyramids were used as programmable atom equivalents to synthesize low-symmetry colloidal crystals.

Trade Policy Uncertainty, Competition, and Markups of Chinese Agricultural Firms: Evidence From the China‐ASEAN Free Trade Agreement
1 Introduction An extensive body of literature has demonstrated that trade liberalization generates welfare gains at the macro-level (Jaravel and Sager 2023; Feenstra 2018; Feenstra and Weinstein 2017), but relatively limited attention has been devoted to this relationship specifically in the context of agricultural trade. Existing research has often estimated firm-level markups using production function approaches applied to broad cross-industry samples (Crozet et al. 2012; Liu and Huang 2015).
