When Paintings Change Time: Visual Structure and Circadian Context Shape Subjective Duration
Brief interval timing is typically studied with simple, uniform stimuli, leaving open how naturalistic visual input and circadian and seasonal factors shape perceived duration. We used a temporal-bisection task in which participants judged whether each image duration was closer to a learned short or long standard. Stimuli comprised 25 images derived from five Van Gogh paintings: five originals and 20 hue-shifted variants created by shifting each painting in four chromatic directions.

Latent profiles of emotional intelligence and associated factors among clinical nurses: a cross-sectional study
Abstract Background: Clinical nurses in tertiary hospitals face high emotional labor, which can deplete emotional resources and lead to occupational burnout. Emotional intelligence is a crucial psychological resource for coping with such stress. This cross-sectional study aimed to use latent profile analysis to identify emotional intelligence profiles among clinical nurses and examine factors associated with profile membership.

The Assessment of Different Calibration Strategies on the Luminance Measurement Using High Dynamic Range Images
ABSTRACT High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDRI) is an increasingly popular technique for studying the lighting environment through luminance maps. However, a thorough calibration process is necessary to retrieve accurate photometric measurements when generating HDR images using commercially affordable equipment like cameras. This paper aims to provide an overview of the most commonly used luminance calibration strategies and evaluate their effectiveness in luminance measurements.
Comprehensive Application and Prospects of Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy in Natural Product Research
The compositions of natural products are diverse and complex, which makes accurate analysis a challenging task. Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) provides a means for the analysis of natural products. This review thoroughly examines the applications of SERS in the field of natural products, ranging from component identification and quality control to the clarification of mechanisms of action.

Recent Progress of Electrochemical Sensors in Food Analysis
1. Introduction Food safety issues have always been the focus of public concern. However, in recent years, various food safety problems still occurred such as: “Sudan red”, “clenbuterol”, and “melamine”, which seriously threatened human health. In order to protect people’s life and safety, the development of a fast, sensitive, and reliable food safety analytical method is the priority among priorities of many researchers.

The effect of growth phase on the surface properties of three oleaginous microalgae (Botryococcus sp. FACGB-762, Chlorella sp. XJ-445 and Desmodesmus bijugatus XJ-231)
The effects of growth phase on the lipid content and surface properties of oleaginous microalgae Botryococcus sp. FACGB-762, Chlorella sp. XJ-445 and Desmodesmus bijugatus XJ-231 were investigated in this study. The results showed that throughout the growth phases, the lipid content of microalgae increased. The surface properties like particle size, the degree of hydrophobicity, and the total concentration of functional groups increased while net surface zeta potential decreased.
Synthesis of Anion-Functionalized Mesoporous Poly(ionic liquid)s via a Microphase Separation-Hypercrosslinking Strategy: Highly Efficient Adsorbents for Bioactive Molecules - Journal of Materials Chemistry A (RSC Publishing)
The synthesis of porous materials with well-defined pore structure and functionality is centrally important for the development of advanced adsorbents and sensors. In this study, we explored a direct and facile methodology combining microphase separation and hypercrosslinking, and prepare anion-functionalized mesoporous poly(ionic liquid)s (MPILs) with well-developed mesopores.
