GAINESVILLE, Ga. (ANF/Gray News) - A Georgia boy who was just shy of turning 2 died after he and his father were hit by a car while window-shopping in a shopping center parking lot, police say. Samuel Skelton, a Gainesville firefighter, and his 22-month-old son, Knox Skelton, were window-shopping Wednesday at the Limestone Marketplace. A driver in a white SUV accidentally accelerated over a curb while parking and hit them, according to Gainesville Police.
Man attacked, killed by tiger after entering wildlife park enclosure
LONDON (AP) - A man died Saturday after he entered the tiger enclosure at a wildlife park in northern England and was attacked by one of the animals, police said. Emergency medical personnel responded to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park near the city of Doncaster after the incident was reported at about 1:35 p.m., but the victim died at the scene, South Yorkshire Police said in a statement. The tiger was not injured and remained inside the enclosure during the incident, the force said.
