(KKTV) - Thousands of evacuees from the Aspen Acres Fire are likely experiencing uncertainty going into a fifth day being out of their homes, but neighbors are stepping up to ensure they know where their next meal is coming from. Francisco Diaz says his family owns El Super Taco in Colorado Springs. He says he learned about the fire on Tuesday, and immediately asked his father if they could take the company taco truck to Pueblo to hand out free burritos to those impacted by the fire.

(KKTV) - A growing list of southern Colorado communities have cancelled firework shows due to extreme fire risk, but El Paso County leaders have yet to put out similar messaging or respond to questions on the topic. Wednesday, Colorado Springs announced seven planned public fireworks shows are cancelled for the July 4th weekend. Pueblo announced it’s display on the riverwalk is cancelled.
