Sports and storytelling are my passions. You can find me by your local ice hockey rink or downtown near a popular eatery.

I have covered the Arizona Coyotes over the last 10 months with Arizona PBS, turning in daily and feature stories on a weekly basis, while working in a timely manner with team's media relations to conduct interviews and produce pieces.

What was your first job as a journalist?

My first job was covering ASU hockey for the Walter Cronkite Sports Network. Incredible experience, which has brought me to where I am today.

How is social media changing news?

Social media is always evolving. It's a game-changer for all journalists. I am always updating my social media to fit the current trends.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Honesty and hard-working mindset stand out, but being a journalist is about the desire to write, report and share within our communities.
