1 Introduction Hypertension, as an important global public health problem, is still the main risk factor leading to death [1]. Hypertension is a multifactorial disease with complex etiology. The largest genome-wide association study of blood pressure characteristics to date has identified 901 loci associated with blood pressure [2]. However, these loci can only explain 27% of the heritability of blood pressure [2].
