LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska softball’s Ava Kuszak hit a game-winning two-run home run in the 10th inning on Thursday, defeating Arkansas 5-3 in the Women’s College World Series. Fans were jumping out of their seats during the game, but for the families, it was a lifetime of softball condensed into one moment in time. For the Kuszak family, it was a moment they will never forget. The home run ball was presented to Ava’s parents. “It was magic,” said Kevin Kuszak, Ava Kuszak’s dad.
