JACKSON, Mich. (News 10) - Juneteenth celebrations in Jackson are back June 18–20, and organizers Sarah Ermatinger and Kelly Crum say this year is bigger than ever. They’re again partnering with TRUE Community Credit Union to support scholarships for local students, especially students of color—with $25,000 awarded through an application and essay process. Events kick off Wednesday, June 18, with an employment fair downtown from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Center, featuring about 20 employers.
