β3GnT2-mediated N-glycosylation of EGFR and LDLR drives glioblastoma progression and can be targeted by AST-1306
Abstract Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most aggressive primary brain tumor, characterized by a poor prognosis and limited therapeutic options. In this study, we identify β3GnT2 (β-1,3-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase 2) as a critical driver of GBM progression and a potential therapeutic target. β3GnT2 is significantly upregulated in GBM tissues, and its high expression correlates with unfavorable patient survival.
PHKA2-AS1 promotes leukemic proliferation and is associated with poor prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia
Abstract Acute myeloid leukemia remains a highly aggressive hematological malignancy with poor clinical outcomes. Long non-coding RNAs are increasingly recognized as regulators of leukemia biology, but the role of PHKA2-AS1 in AML remains unclear. MCOLN1-related lysosome–mitochondria stress and zinc homeostasis have been implicated in cancer cell fate; however, whether AML-associated lncRNAs are transcriptionally associated with this axis has not been fully explored.
A hybrid underwater crack image enhancement method
Abstract This study proposes a hybrid underwater crack image processing method. The first half of the algorithm is based on traditional image processing, which analyzes and judges the color of an image, establishes the image chromaticity factor K, and performs color correction when K is greater than a threshold value. A quadtree analysis method is used to estimate the background light of the image.

Exploring the causal relationship between long-term exposure to particulate matter 2.5 and risk of thyroid disorders: a Mendelian randomization analysis
ABSTRACT Particulate matter 2.5 (PM2.5) has been increasingly linked to thyroid dysfunction, yet causal evidence remains limited. This study employs a two-sample Mendelian Randomization (MR) approach to assess the causal relationship between long-term PM2.5 exposure and thyroid disorders. Genetic instruments for PM2.5 exposure were sourced from the UK Biobank, while outcome data on thyroid dysfunction and its subtypes were obtained from the FinnGen consortium.

Chaotic laser time series prediction based on an improved logistic mapping algorithm echo state network
Chaos synchronization plays vital functions in the fields of optical chaos secure communication. The synchronization performance can be significantly degraded by parameter mismatches between the chaotic transmitter and receiver. In this paper, the Deep-Logistical Mapping Echo State Network (D-LMESN) is proposed to enhance the performance of chaos synchronization. The network is upgraded by using an improved logical mapping algorithm and a deep reserve pool structure with phase space reconstruction.

A comprehensive prognostic and immune infiltration analysis of UBA1 in pan‐cancer: A computational analysis and in vitro experiments
1 INTRODUCTION Vacuoles, E1 ubiquitin-activating enzyme, X-linked, autoinflammatory somatic (VEXAS) syndrome is a newly discovered disease caused by somatic mutations in the Ubiquitin like modifier activating enzyme 1 (UBA1) gene, leading to refractory autoimmune features, often accompanied by cellular reduction.1 In December 2020, researchers from the National Institutes of Health in the United States first described this type of disease.2 The current prevalence of VEXAS syndrome is unknown...
Prior disulfide bond-mediated Ser/Thr ligation
Prior disulfide bond-mediated Ser/Thr ligation† In this work, we developed a novel strategy, prior disulfide bond-mediated Ser/Thr ligation (PD-STL), for the chemical synthesis of peptides and proteins. This approach combines disulfide bond-forming chemistry with Ser/Thr ligation (STL), converting intermolecular STL into intramolecular STL to effectively proceed regardless of concentrations.

Complete recovery of valuable metals from chlorinated titanium-white waste acids: Focus on solvent extraction for recovery and preparation of battery-grade manganese sulfate (MnSO4·H2O) from lab to pilot scale
Chlorination titanium-white waste acid (CTWA) refers to the wastewater resulting from the acid dissolution of chlorinated slag during the production of titanium dioxide via the chlorination process.[1], [2], [3] The acid generated during the treatment of chlorination slag is an inevitable byproduct, which contains a significant number of metals (vanadium (V), scandium (Sc), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), etc.).
A novel dual-mode aptasensor based on multiple amplification system for ultrasensitive fluorescence and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy detection of lead ion
A novel dual-mode aptasensor based on multiple amplification system for ultrasensitive fluorescence and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy detection of lead ion In this work, we develop a fluorescence and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (FL-SERS) dual recycling amplification aptasensor for sensitive and rapid detection of lead ions (Pb2+). The aptasensor allows targeted cleavage of substrates through specifically binding with the Pb2+-dependent aptamer (M-PS2.M).

The Recent Research Progress of NF-κB Signaling on the Proliferation, Migration, Invasion, Immune Escape and Drug Resistance of Glioblastoma
Abstract : Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common and invasive primary central nervous system tumor in humans, accounting for approximately 45–50% of all primary brain tumors. How to conduct early diagnosis, targeted intervention, and prognostic evaluation of GBM, in order to improve the survival rate of glioblastoma patients, has always been an urgent clinical problem to be solved.
Joule heating activation of template‐mediated carbon fibers with significantly enhanced capacitive performance
Abstract Carbon fibers (CFs) have been innovated in the application of fiber-shaped and wearable energy storage devices recently. However, time- and energy-consuming activation process under harsh conditions is generally required to modify the surface structure of the CF. In this paper, a fast and effective Joule heating activation method has been proposed with the Ni-Co LDH derived nano metal particles as the template.

Exonuclease III-propelled electrochemical sensor for highly efficient microRNA-155 detection
Exonuclease III-propelled electrochemical sensor for highly efficient microRNA-155 detection Bingyin Yan, Xiangjiang Zheng and Pengfei Shi Abstract MicroRNA-155 is highly expressed in tumor cells such as lung cancer, liver cancer and lymphoma, which was increasingly used for the early diagnosis and monitoring of cancer diseases. Herein, we designed an exonuclease III-propelled electrochemical sensor coupling with multiple signal amplification for highly efficient microRNA-155 detection.
Rapid and label-free detection of aflatoxin B1 by using a rationally truncated aptamer and via circular dichroism measurement We describe a simple aptamer assay for rapid analysis of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), a potently carcinogenic fungal metabolite. Original anti-AFB1 aptamer was rationally truncated, obtaining a short aptamer that displayed better performance. Different concentrations of AFB1 were detected by measuring circular dichroism spectra of this short aptamer.
