NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department is tightening its payroll and overtime policies after Fox 8’s Unchecked Overtime investigation uncovered officers at home while timesheets showed they were on the clock and detailed edited time punches, and shared supervisor credentials. NOPD announced Friday that updated payroll, overtime and timekeeping policies will take effect May 10.
