But as of today, a new facility is allowing people of all faiths to gain a new perspective on the historic site. The Nauvoo Temple Visitors’ Center was officially dedicated Saturday, June 27 by Gerrit W. Gong.

First started in 1994, organizers were forced to discontinue the meet due to shortages of manpower and resources in 2022. Now, the swim meet is set to draw eight teams and roughly 115 athletes.
