PASCO, Wash. – A plane that went down in the Columbia River has caused a power outage in Kennewick, and multiple emergency response officials are responding to the scene. According to dispatch records, emergency responders were dispatched to the Columbia River near Clover Island at about 2:29 p.m. on June 24 for a reported aircraft crash. A plane had crashed into the river near the island, and had struck power lines during its descent, leading to a power outage in part of Kennewick.
