LYONS — State Police said five people were arrested on weapons charges following a fight where one suspect threatened a victim with a gun. According to troopers, a verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation between multiple individuals at the corner of William and Queen streets on Tuesday, June 30 about 4:56 p.m. During the incident, said police, one of the occupants of a vehicle allegedly displayed a firearm and threatened the victim while preventing others from intervening.

ARCADIA — A Phelps man is accused of shooting at a vehicle during a road rage incident. State Police said Tuesday that Benjamin Q. Lead, 32, has been charged with first-degree criminal use of a firearm, a class B felony, first-degree attempted assault, a class C felony, and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, also a class C felony.
