Kid Cudi says his planned Birmingham tour stop has been canceled due to low ticket sales, according to a message he shared with fans on social media Monday. The Grammy Award-winning artist's 'The Rebel Ragers Tour' show was set for Tuesday, May 5 the Coca-Cola Amphitheater. In a written statement posted online, the artist said he had hoped to perform in Alabama because it is one of the few places in the U.S. where he had not yet played.

(WBMA) — Birmingham-Southern College announced Friday it finalized the sale of its campus to the United States Coast Guard, marking a transition that will repurpose the property into a new training facility. The Coast Guard plans to convert the 192-acre campus on Birmingham’s west side into the Coast Guard Training Center Birmingham-Southern.
