lncRNA SNHG29 -RPS-CYLD axis is mitochondrially localized and mediates apoptosis in rituximab-resistant DLBCL
Abstract Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), and some cases are resistant to first-line rituximab (RTX) treatment, leading to poor prognosis. Our previous research found that phosphorylated cylindromatosis (CYLD) is a target regulating apoptosis in RTX-resistant DLBCL.
Complete Telomere-to-Telomere Assembly of the Y Chromosome in the Chinese Quartet
Abstract The complete assembly of the human Y chromosome remains a formidable task due to its highly repetitive, palindromic, and heterochromatic architecture. While complete telomere-to-telomere (T2T) assemblies have recently been generated for select individuals, high-quality, gapless Y chromosome references for East Asian lineages—specifically within well-characterized multi-omics reference cohorts—remain scarce.

Obesity-driven microbial GABA depletion promotes metabolic rewiring and colorectal cancer progression
Abstract Obesity is a major risk factor for colorectal cancer (CRC), yet the mechanisms linking obesity-associated gut dysbiosis to tumor progression remain unclear. Here, we show that a high-fat diet and fecal microbiota from patients with obesity-associated CRC deplete the GABA-producing commensal Bacteroides ovatus, resulting in reduced luminal GABA and accelerated tumorigenesis. Microbial GABA activates epithelial GABAB receptor signaling and induces TPI1 through the PI3K–HIF1α pathway.

The oligosaccharyltransferase TaOST1B promotes viral infection by enhancement of RNA silencing suppression in wheat
Abstract Viral suppressors of RNA silencing (VSRs) are crucial for viral infection. Here, we show that a wheat (Triticum aestivum) oligosaccharyltransferase (TaOST1B) is associated with resistance to Wheat yellow mosaic virus (WYMV). TaOST1B interacts with WYMV-encoded P1 and enhances the VSR function of P1 by N-glycosylating its asparagine residue at position 116.

Editorial: Quantitative reconstruction of marine carbonate production: from modern to deep-time oceans
Marine carbonate production is one of the key processes linking the biosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, climate system, and the carbon cycle, as geologic carbon store is much greater than the ocean, atmosphere and biosphere combined. It controls the formation, transport, accumulation, and preservation of carbonate sediments, and records changes in marine ecosystems, seawater chemistry, climate, sea level, tectonics, nutrients, redox conditions, hydrodynamics, and early diagenesis.

Natural forest expansion is a larger carbon sink than secondary forests in moist tropics
Abstract Tropical secondary forests grow back naturally after the original forest has been cleared, while degraded forests comprise regrowth within forested land that has experienced partial structural and functional loss. Both represent important carbon sinks. However, natural forest expansion into originally unforested land also occurs, and despite covering 6% more area than secondary forests in the moist tropics, its carbon sink remains unquantified.
Revisiting Zn-specific nucleation via a dimensionless factor to quantify interfacial electrochemistry of aqueous batteries
Abstract Zn-based aqueous batteries have attracted widespread research attention, while the lack of nucleation theory for electrochemical interactions at the Zn-water interface constrains efforts to suppress the thermodynamically spontaneous hydrogen evolution reaction and dendrite formation, thereby stalling practical development. Elucidating Zn electrodeposition in aqueous media requires Zn-specific nucleation theory and a descriptor to regulate interfacial electrochemistry.
