A compact Kolmogorov–Arnold network mixer for long-term time series forecasting
Abstract Long-term time series forecasting (LTSF) underpins critical applications from energy management to weather prediction, yet achieving reliable multi-step-ahead accuracy remains challenging. Existing LTSF approaches, dominated by MLP- and Transformer-based architectures, either rely on simple linear mappings or introduce increasingly complex hand-crafted inductive biases, raising the question of whether a more expressive nonlinear modeling core could offer a useful alternative.

Discovery, delineation, and therapeutic targeting of a hyper-translation pathway driving cytokine release syndrome
Results To characterize the inflammatory signatures of human CRS, we isolated peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from patients with refractory/relapsed B cell lymphoma or multiple myeloma undergoing CAR T therapy (Figure S1A). Samples were collected at pre-infusion and post-infusion stage, as indicated by fever and elevated serum IL-6 levels (Figures 1A and S1B).

A flexible and multimodal biosensing patch integrated with microfluidics for chronic wound monitoring
Chronic wound infection presents a debilitating challenge that causes immense distress to patients and poses severe health risks. Globally, >13 million individuals grapple with chronic nonhealing wounds such as diabetic or venous ulcers, and surgical wounds and this figure increases daily [1]. This growing burden highlights the critical need for innovative wound management technologies to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Three-dimensional polydimethylsiloxane/barium titanate elastomer networks for piezoelectric energy harvesters
Three-dimensional polydimethylsiloxane/barium titanate elastomer networks for piezoelectric energy harvesters Piezoelectric energy harvesters (PEHs) have attracted considerable attention in fields such as energy harvesting and motion monitoring due to their high electromechanical conversion capabilities. Conventionally, PEHs are obtained by dispersing piezoelectric nanofillers in a polymer matrix to achieve piezoelectric output and flexibility.

Numerical Investigation of Flow Boiling in Interconnected Microchannels at Varying Mass Fluxes
1. Introduction Microelectronic devices have become pervasive in sectors such as aerospace, biochemistry, nuclear technology, and various other industries. As the power density of these electronic devices has steadily risen, recent data suggests that the peak heat flux of densely integrated microelectronic components has surpassed 1000 W/cm2 [1,2,3].
Auto-focusing femtosecond laser manufacturing system via acoustic emission technology
Auto-focusing technology in ultrafast laser processing, especially for non-planar structures, holds paramount importance. The existing methodologies predominantly rely on optical mechanisms, thereby being limited by the original system and material reflectivity. This work proposes an approach that utilizes laser-induced sound as a feedback signal for system control, thereby circumventing the need for optical system adjustments and facilitating almost real-time tracking.
Industrial-scale production of various bio-commodities by engineered microbial cell factories: Strategies of engineering in microbial robustness
Generation of microbial cell factories (MCFs) to produce valuable bio–commodities has evolved from mutation methods and basic metabolic engineering to systematic metabolic engineering, which combines tools from systems and synthetic biology and evolutionary engineering [1], [2].
The Dynamic Changes in the Composition and Diversity of Vaginal Microbiota in Women of Different Pregnancy Periods
1. Introduction As is well known, the human gut microbiota plays a crucial role in maintaining intestinal homeostasis and preventing disease development. In the past decade, the human gut microbiota has become a widely studied topic. We have a complex microbial community composed of 100 trillion microorganisms in our intestines, which affect human physiology, metabolism, nutrition, and immune function [,].

Aberrant JmjC domain-containing protein 8 (JMJD8) expression promotes activation of AKT and tumor epithelial-mesenchymal transition
Abstract Posttranslational modifications of histone and nonhistone proteins greatly influence numerous molecular events in multiple diseases. Jumonji domain-containing proteins are a family functioning as histone demethylase. Jumonji domain-containing protein 8 (JMJD8) is Jumonji C (JmjC) domain-only member of this family, and its physiological functions remain largely unknown.
Anti-HER2 Affibody-Conjugated Photosensitizer for Tumor Targeting Photodynamic Therapy
Antibody-coupled photosensitive molecules can achieve an ideal tumor-specific photodynamic therapy (PDT) and show strong clinical application potential. However, some inherent disadvantages, such as long circulation half-life, poor permeation into solid tumors, and difficulty in obtaining uniform coupling products, present potential problems to clinical applications.
