Your family photos could help tell Saginaw County’s story

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - Old family photographs tucked away in albums, shoeboxes, drawers, and collections may hold pieces of Saginaw County’s history, and the Castle Museum wants to help preserve them. Through its Chronicling Our Past program, the museum is inviting community members to bring in historical photographs to be scanned and added to a growing digital archive.

Justice for Tyhari: Grieving family calls for action after tragic shooting

FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) - Family members of 9-year-old girl killed in Flint are calling for justice. 9-year-old Tyhari Knox was shot and killed while sleeping in a home on Altoona Street on May 8. The shooting also critically injured her 12-year-old sister. More than 200 shots were fired at the home. Currently, no one is in custody for the shooting.
