The association of urinary xenoestrogens levels in pregnant women and their risk of missed miscarriage
Abstract Introduction: Environmental exposure to hormone-like compounds that mimic endogenous estrogens is widespread. Xenoestrogens, a class of endocrine-disrupting chemicals, may interfere with endocrine function and adversely affect pregnancy outcomes. However, their association with missed miscarriage remains unclear. This study investigated the association between urinary xenoestrogen concentrations and the risk of missed miscarriage.
Exercise self-management behavioral phenotypes in type 2 diabetes: a multicenter cross-sectional study
Abstract Background: Exercise management is important in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). However, individual variability in exercise-related knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) is significantly associated with behavioral adherence yet is often overlooked in average-based analyses. This study applied Latent profile analysis (LPA) to characterize this heterogeneity and explored associations between the resulting behavioral profiles and clinical indicators.

Glofitamab in the sequential treatment of relapsed/refractory B-Cell lymphoma: a single-center real-world study
Abstract Background: Glofitamab is a bispecific antibody (BsAb), and has good efficacy in relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (r/r B-NHL), especially in relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (r/r DLBCL). This study explored its sequential treatment strategies and efficacy in the real world, including rescue therapy after chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy failure, bridging CAR-T therapy and monotherapy.
Foodstuff Salinity Affect the Fecundity and Prepupa Nutritional Composition of Hermetia illucens (Diptera: Stratiomyidae)
You are already at the latest version Among the various insects used in animal foodstuff, Hermetia illucens is regarded as an effective converter of organic wastes including food waste, crop straw, vinasse, rice and wheat bran, human and animal feces. Based on the tremendous potential of converting organic waste into renewable resources, such as food and feed ingredients, extensive research on H. illucens has recently been conducted.
Formation of S- and Z-twist supramolecular micro-ropes by peptide stereoisomers
|
Abstract The intertwined strand arrangement in ropes, from micro- to macro-scale, results in tensile moduli significantly higher than those of single strands. Micro-scale ropes are found in biological systems, most commonly in mechanically-rigid collagen tri-strand arrangements. While human-made macro-ropes possess either left-handed (S) or right-handed (Z) twist, collagen exclusively adopts Z-twist architectures.

Correction to: Nature Materials https://doi.org/10.1038/s41563-026-02532-7, published online 9 March 2026. In the version of this article initially published, there were errors where “mouse” was written instead of “rat” in the “Implantable reservoir for closed-loop neural stimulation control” section and the legends for Fig. 5 and Extended Data Fig. 9. Discussion of a rat model in the abstract and Methods remains correct. The changes have been made in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
Determination of the ED 90 of Remimazolam Bolus Dose for Preventing Emergence Delirium in Children with Sevoflurane Anesthesia: A Dose-Finding Study Using Biased-Coin Design Up-and-Down Sequential Method

An iontronic reservoir for highly robust neuromorphic prosthesis - Nature Materials
Abstract Neuromorphic prosthesis demands not only the assembly of neural architectures and functions but also robustness against unpredictable failures in dynamic physiological environments. While self-healing electronics have been demonstrated to restore synapse-like functions, their application to higher-order cognitive functions remains limited. Here we present a hydrogel-based iontronic reservoir that demonstrates exceptional physical and functional robustness for neuromorphic prosthesis.
Rational design of rigid mRNA folding architecture to enhance intracellular processing and protein production - Nature Nanotechnology
Abstract The application of messenger RNA (mRNA) beyond infectious diseases is challenged by inefficient protein production. Whereas the engineering of secondary mRNA structures has been shown to increase mRNA half-life, it remains unclear whether tertiary mRNA structures influence therapeutic efficacy.

Dynamic rigidity changes enable rapid cell migration on soft substrates - Nature Communications
Abstract Cell migration is crucial in various biological processes, regulated by surrounding rigidity. Studies under static conditions suggest migration favors rigid substrates, as softer substrates (<4 kPa) do not provide sufficient traction forces. Here we show that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can overcome this limitation when exposed to rapid cyclic changes in substrate rigidity.

In this Letter, we present a quadruple acousto-optic coupling length-enhanced acoustic detection system, i.e., $\boldsymbol{4l}$-PBD, based on light probe beam deflection methodology. By leveraging polarization multiplexing and the non-reciprocal characteristics of Faraday rotator mirrors, the effective acousto-optic coupling length is quadrupled, thereby amplifying the angular deflection of probe beams.

Abstract Hydrogels are extensively utilized in stem cell-based tissue regeneration, providing a supportive environment that facilitates cell survival, differentiation, and integration with surrounding tissues. However, designing hydrogels for regenerating hard tissues like bone presents significant challenges. Here, we introduce macroporous hydrogels with spatiotemporally programmed mechanical properties for stem cell-driven bone regeneration.

Rapidly damping hydrogels engineered through molecular friction - Nature Communications
Abstract Hydrogels capable of swift mechanical energy dissipation hold promise for a range of applications including impact protection, shock absorption, and enhanced damage resistance. Traditional energy absorption in such materials typically relies on viscoelastic mechanisms, involving sacrificial bond breakage, yet often suffers from prolonged recovery times. Here, we introduce a hydrogel designed for friction-based damping.

Imaging-based measurement of lunar dust velocity and particle size
This paper introduces an optical–mechanical system designed for the dynamic detection and analysis of lunar dust, typically characterized as particles under 20 micrometers on the lunar surface. The system’s design is both compact and lightweight, aligning with the payload constraints of lunar exploration missions. It is capable of real-time tracking and recording the motion of lunar dust at various altitudes, a crucial capability for understanding the environmental dynamics of the lunar surface.

Azobenzene as a photoswitchable mechanophore - Nature Chemistry
Abstract Azobenzene has been widely explored as a photoresponsive element in materials science. Although some studies have investigated the force-induced isomerization of azobenzene, the effect of force on the rupture of azobenzene has not been explored. Here we show that the light-induced structural change of azobenzene can also alter its rupture forces, making it an ideal light-responsive mechanophore.
