Endothelial exosomes remodel chromatin accessibility and superenhancer in cancer cells to promote liver metastatic colonization
Abstract Liver-organotropic metastasis occurs in cancers such as uveal melanoma (UM) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and is a leading cause of mortality at the terminal stage. Colonization is a rate-limiting and converging step in the metastatic cascade. The drivers underlying liver colonization have largely remained elusive.
Full-polarization-compatible optical storage for arbitrary polarized modes
Abstract Efficient quantum storage for polarization-encoded information is essential for quantum communication and quantum computation. However, current high-efficiency quantum storage, particularly those based on electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) protocol in atomic media, exhibit an inherent sensitivity for photonic polarization. This necessitates transforming the polarization encoding into path encoding, setting strict requirements for phase and alignment stability.
HRS-7535, an oral small-molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist, in Chinese adults with obesity without diabetes: a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 2 trial
Abstract HRS-7535 is an orally active small-molecule glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist that showed weight-loss potential in a phase 1 study. In this completed multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 2 trial conducted at 29 centers in China, we evaluated the efficacy and safety of HRS-7535 in adults with obesity without diabetes.
Age-Related Asymptomatic Rhinovirus Infections Contribute to the Sustained Prevalence in Adults and Are Not Mitigated by Nonpharmaceutical Interventions
1 Introduction Rhinoviruses (RVs) are the most common respiratory pathogens in humans, accounting for approximately 20%–50% of respiratory tract infections (RTIs) annually [1, 2].
Aberrant activation of tissue-resident lymphocytes and pro-fibrotic GZMK⁺ CD8⁺ T cells in IPF
Abstract Tissue-resident immune cells play a crucial role in chronic lung diseases, yet a comprehensive profile of these cells in human lungs is lacking. Here, we explore alterations of resident immune cells in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a fatal lung disease characterized by tissue inflammation and progressive scarring. Utilizing ex-vivo human lung perfusion with single-cell RNA-sequencing, we successfully segregate the resident immune cells.

Extracellular vesicle engineering using a small scaffold protein
Abstract Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are promising drug-delivery vehicles owing to their biocompatibility and low immunogenicity. Genetic engineering of a membrane-bound EV-sorting scaffold protein empowers EVs by installing targeting moieties on the surface and enriching therapeutic cargo in the lumen. However, the choice of scaffold proteins with simple structures and short sequences is limited.
Examining the associations between the built environment and older adults’ walking behavior: Spatial and distributional heterogeneity
Abstract Population aging has emerged as a major global challenge, and China is experiencing this demographic shift. Walking plays a vital role in maintaining older adults’ health and well-being. While the relationships between the built environment and older adults’ walking behavior have been widely examined, how these relationships vary across different spatial contexts and walking-time levels remain insufficiently explored.

High-Efficiency Capture and Proteomic Analysis of Plasma-Derived Extracellular Vesicles through Affinity Purification
Abstract Plasma-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) are promising sources of biomarkers. It is still a challenge to isolate EVs from a small amount of human plasma for downstream proteomic analysis. The separation process is hindered by contamination with high-abundance blood proteins and lipoprotein particles, which adversely impact proteomic analyses.
An anomaly detection model for multivariate time series with anomaly perception
In real-world scenarios, multiple sensors or agents continuously collect data from various system components for real-time monitoring (Kim et al., 2023). These sensors will generate a large amount of interrelated time series data. For example, in IT systems, performance monitoring software simultaneously gathers metrics like CPU utilization, memory usage, and user visits, among others, and stores them in a time series database. These metrics often exhibit complex correlations.
Extension Mechanism of Water-Conducting Cracks in the Thick and Hard Overlying Strata of Coal Mining Face
1. Introduction Mine water hazards, as one of the most dangerous disasters in coal mining, not only threaten the safety of miners but can also lead to severe economic losses and environmental damage [1,2]. Despite extensive research into the mechanisms and control technologies for mine water hazards over the past decades, the diversity and complexity of geological conditions, especially in regions like the Yuheng mining area in China, still pose significant challenges to water hazard prevention.

Assessment of urine sample collection and processing variables for extracellular vesicle-based proteomics
Assessment of urine sample collection and processing variables for extracellular vesicle-based proteomics Extracellular vesicles (EVs) in urine are a promising source to develop non-invasive biomarkers. However, urine concentration and content are highly variable and dynamic, and actual urine collection and handling often is nonideal. Furthermore, patients such as those with prostate diseases have challenges in sample collection due to difficulties in holding urine at designated time points.
Design of a Multi-Position Alignment Scheme
1. Introduction Initial alignment is one of the key technologies in inertial navigation [1,2], and the inertial navigation system (INS) needs to perform initial alignment before entering the navigation state during every startup. Due to the fact that inertial navigation calculation is an integral process, and initial alignment is actually a problem of determining the initial value of integration [3], the alignment result will directly affect the navigation accuracy of the system [4].
