Thromboxane A2 receptor signalling amplifies osteoclastogenesis in rheumatoid arthritis through ACSL1 associated mitochondrial oxidative metabolism
Abstract Activated platelets contribute to inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, but how platelet-derived signals promote bone erosion remains poorly understood. Here we show that thromboxane A2, a major mediator released by activated platelets, promotes the formation of bone-resorbing osteoclasts through the thromboxane A2 receptor.
Histone H4K5 lactylation-driven feedback loop modulates glycerol-linked immunosuppressive activity of tumor-associated T regulatory cells

Abstract Tumor metastasis is the leading cause of death for more than 90% of cancer patients, with colorectal cancer (CRC) mainly spreading to the liver. The colon and liver possess distinct nutritional microenvironments, yet how these differences shape the tumor immune landscape remains unclear. Using single-cell analysis of autologous samples from CRC patients with liver metastases, we identified a distinct CD177+GK+ regulatory T (Treg) cell subset in metastatic lesions.

Transcriptome analysis identifies candidate genes for southern root-knot nematode resistance in cultivated peach
Abstract Root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) damage peach trees, and one of the most effective ways instead of the most fundamental way as there are other management strategies. We compared root transcriptomes of resistant ‘Nemaguard’ and susceptible ‘Bailey’ after inoculation with Meloidogyne incognita, the southern root-knot nematode. Roots were sampled at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, and 24 h after inoculation. Both genotypes showed the strongest transcriptional response at 24 h.
Unconventional vesicle transport driven by formin-actin-myosin working system during pollen germination
Abstract INTRODUCTION RESULTS DISCUSSION MATERIALS AND METHODS Acknowledgments Supplementary Materials REFERENCES Information & Authors Metrics & Citations View Options References Figures Tables Media Share Abstract Directional transport of massive secretory vesicles to the germination site is a key process for pollen germination, but the molecular mechanism remains unclear. Here, we find that Myo11C proteins, Myo11C1 and Myo11C2, act redundantly.
More Frequent and Severe Extreme Precipitation in Inner Mongolia Under Global Warming
You are already at the latest version Extreme precipitation events exert profound impacts on regional ecosystems, hydrological cycles and human societies. As an important ecological barrier in northern China, Inner Mongolia (IM) is highly vulnerable to climate change, making it a key region for precipitation research.
FAM111B may promote the progression of lung squamous cell carcinoma through PI3K signaling pathway
Abstract Lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) is a subtype of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Compared to lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), LUSC is characterized by a greater propensity for recurrence and metastasis, poorer prognosis, and shorter survival. Therefore, further research into the pathogenesis of LUSC and the identification of new therapeutic targets are essential to advance clinical treatment options for this aggressive cancer.
Real-time personalized recommendations with Amazon SageMaker and Amazon-managed Valkey
Amazon receives millions of visits every day, and earning each customer’s trust visit after visit is the foundation that the store is built on. A meaningful part of that trust comes down to whether the recommendations we surface feel relevant and whether they reflect what the customer actually cares about in the moment. Delivering that level of relevance and personalization at scale in real time across many product discovery surfaces is a non-trivial engineering challenge.
Durvalumab plus anlotinib versus durvalumab alone as maintenance treatment in extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (DURABLE): a multicenter, randomized, phase II trial and biomarker analysis
Abstract Although first-line immunotherapy plus chemotherapy has made substantial progress in extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC), the survival benefit remains limited. DURABLE was a prospective, multicenter, open-label, randomized, phase II trial (NCT04985851) that evaluated the efficacy and safety of durvalumab plus anlotinib as consolidative maintenance therapy following first-line durvalumab plus platinum-etoposide chemotherapy in ES-SCLC.
Explore the interaction between industrial structure and ecosystem services in the Loess Plateau

Antimicrobial and anti-biofilm activity of Epigallocatechin gallate against Vibrio parahaemolyticus
|
Abstract Vibrio parahaemolyticus enhances its environmental persistence and antimicrobial tolerance by forming biofilms. This study investigated the antimicrobial and anti-biofilm activities of (-)-Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) against the pandemic V. parahaemolyticus RIMD2210633 (O3:K6). EGCG significantly inhibited bacterial growth, motility, and biofilm formation in a concentration-dependent manner.

Global patterns and drivers of soil microbial nitrogen and phosphorus use efficiency
Abstract While nutrient use efficiency of soil microorganisms, the proportion of assimilated nutrients allocated into biosynthesis rather than invested in mineralization, is a critical microbial functional trait, its global patterns remain poorly quantified. Here, we estimate microbial nitrogen use efficiency (NUE, n = 2012) and phosphorus use efficiency (PUE, n = 3419) across terrestrial ecosystems using the ecoenzymatic stoichiometric approach.

Thinning altered the optimum photosynthetic environment in a subtropical coniferous plantation - Scientific Reports
Abstract Thinning offers long-term benefits for planted forests and is an important silvicultural practice. Meanwhile, ecosystem would respond to thinning and the optimal photosynthetic environment would change. Clarifying and quantifying the changing optimal photosynthetic environment induced by thinning is important for accurate prediction of carbon budgets and effective management of artificial forests.

The Design of Chemically Self‐Charging Aqueous Batteries
The chemically self-charging aqueous batteries are regarded as potential candidates for off-grid energy storage devices due to their environmental independence and simple construction. Although tremendous research efforts have been recently made to design chemically self-charging aqueous batteries, a comprehensive review about them is still absent. This review describes the design principles of chemically self-charging aqueous batteries and their self-charging mechanism.

A Hypoxia-targeting and Hypoxia-responsive Nano-probe for Tumor Detection and Early Diagnosis Accurate imaging of tumor hypoxia in vivo is critical for early cancer diagnosis and clinical outcomes, highlighting the great challenges in its detection specificity and sensitivity. In this report, we propose a probe (named as HTRNP) that simultaneously has hypoxia-targeting and hypoxia-responsive capabilities to enhance the imaging efficiency of tumor hypoxia.
Highly potent novel multi-armoured IL13Rα2 CAR-T subverts the immunosuppressive microenvironment of Glioblastoma
Abstract Glioblastoma (GBM) remains one of the most challenging and lethal brain cancers, with limited treatment options. Here, we present an armoured CAR-T cell design to address these challenges and enhance persistence in GBM tumours.
