(WCAX) - As neighbors reel from a chaotic week on the Lamoille River that left three Vermonters dead, a Cambridge store is collecting money for the victims’ families, and a GoFundMe has raised over $85,000. Police have identified three people who drowned near Arrowhead Mountain Lake last week, including a Cambridge sister and brother and a Fairfax man who jumped in to save a child in a seperate incident.

(WCAX) - Two gunfire incidents in Burlington over the Independence Day weekend have police investigating a possible connection, and a 21-year-old suspect appeared in court Monday on charges stemming from one of them. Alex Ewanchyna, of Burlington, appeared virtually and pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

(WCAX) - A local group is taking a page from Vermont’s tourism playbook to protest federal immigration enforcement — offering what they call an “ICE Tour” of Department of Homeland Security facilities across Chittenden County. At the top of Burlington’s Church Street, a tour group assembled on Wednesday morning. “Usually, my tours are focused on fall foliage,” said Blaine Paxton with ICE Tours VT.
