SWI/SNF subunit SMARCD1 deficiency promotes clear cell renal cell carcinoma progression via mitochondrial reprogramming
Abstract Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) remains a lethal malignancy driven in part by SWI/SNF dysfunction, yet the mechanistic basis of this link is unclear. We identify SMARCD1, a core SWI/SNF subunit, as a tumor suppressor progressively silenced by DNMT3B-mediated promoter hypermethylation in ccRCC.
The Luoyang Peony Culture Festival in China: a review

Preliminary investigations on the development of a lightweight mortar using recycled phenolic foam
ABSTRACT Phenolic foam (PF) is widely used across the globe as an insulation material in buildings. However, manufacturing PF panels generates large quantities of waste that are either landfilled or incinerated. This research explores a solution to this problem by investigating the feasibility of using recycled PF waste from insulation panel manufacturing to produce a sustainable and lightweight mortar that features energy-efficient and fire-retardant properties.
Telomere-to-Telomere Genome Assembly and Graph-Based pan-genome Construction of Grifola frondosa (Maitake)
Abstract Grifola frondosa, also known as the “Maitake,” is a large fungus with both edible and medicinal value. Through whole-genome sequencing, we newly assembled five high-quality genomes from 36.7 to 39.6 Mb in size, with the scaffold N50 lengths of 2.8–3.2 Mb, including one telomere-to-telomere assembly (HT01). Together with five publicly available genomes, we constructed the pan-genome of G. frondosa, which contains 17,874 protein-coding gene clusters.

The Combined Administration of Rice Bran and Bacteria Producing Feruloyl Esterase Alleviates DSS-Induced Ulcerative Colitis in Mice
1 Introduction IBD is a gastrointestinal condition resulting from the complex interaction of genetic, gut microbiota, and environmental factors, encompassing Crohn's disease and UC (Caruso et al. 2020; Danne et al. 2023; Verstockt et al. 2023). Currently, it is estimated that approximately 5 million individuals worldwide suffer from UC, and the incidence rate continues to rise, posing a significant burden on global healthcare systems (Ungaro et al. 2017).

A heat flux sensor with both fast response and high sensitivity
Abstract Heat flux sensors are of great significance for measuring heat transfer processes. However, due to the limitations of the thermal resistance thickness and the number of thermopile junctions, it is often difficult to combine the high sensitivity and fast response time in one heat flux sensor.
Stevia-derived sweeteners in reduced-sugar foods: formulation strategies, sensory optimization, nutritional evidence, and safety perspectives
Abstract Background: Excessive intake of added sugars is an important contributor to obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), dental caries, cardiovascular disease, and other metabolism-related disorders in humans. Stevia-derived sweeteners, particularly high-purity steviol glycosides (SGs), have been widely used in reduced-sugar and sugar-free foods because of their high sweetness intensity, low energy contribution, and plant-derived origin.
A machine learning-based megakaryocyte identification system uncovers resident organs, markers, and functional diversity
Results Recent studies on the cellular diversity of MKs across organs prompted a reassessment of their distribution and function.5,6,26,68,69 We asked whether additional MK markers could be identified, whether a systematic framework for MK detection could be established, and whether previously unrecognized organs might harbor resident MKs. We collected MK data from multiple organs and developmental stages to identify additional MK markers through integrated analysis (Figure 1A).

Research on super-resolution reconstruction of construction images based on attention mechanism and generative adversarial networks - Scientific Reports
Abstract High-resolution construction images are essential for quality monitoring and progress management. Addressing the challenge that existing super-resolution models often struggle to balance reconstruction quality with real-time inference speed in complex construction environments, this paper proposes a super-resolution reconstruction model based on attention mechanisms and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs).

PARP inhibitors restore NK cell function via secretory crosstalk with tumor cells in prostate cancer
Abstract Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most frequently diagnosed malignancies and the main cause of cancer-related death in men worldwide. Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitors (PARPi) have been approved for the treatment of PCa harboring BRCA1/2 mutations. While the survival benefits conferred by PARPi may extend beyond this specific patient population based on evidence from recent clinical trials, the underlying mechanisms remain unexplored.

Strain sensor based on a flexible frequency-selective surface with temperature compensation
In this Letter, a biaxial strain sensor based on a frequency-selective surface (FSS) is designed using a flexible polymer. The sensor achieves independent strain detection in the two-dimensional direction by biaxial mechanical deformation, and the resonant frequency shift is caused only by the mechanical deformation, which is insensitive to temperature changes. The FSS sensor was fabricated using photolithography, wet etching, and laser cutting techniques.
Optimized encapsulation of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals in metal-organic framework by improved synthesis
Optimized encapsulation of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals in metal-organic framework by improved synthesis Instabilities of all inorganic perovskite nanocrystals (PeNCs) strictly limit their practical applications. Encapsulating PeNCs into metal-organic framework (MOF) has been recognized as an effective approach to improving the lifetime of PeNCs. However, the effects of various encapsulation methods on the performance and stabilities of PeNCs@MOF composites remain ambiguous.

Comprehensive Atomic-Scale 3D Viral-Host Protein Interactomes Enable Dissection of Key Mechanisms and Evolutionary Processes Underlying Viral Pathogenesis
Abstract Viral-human protein interactions are critical for viral replication and modulation of the host immune response. Structural modeling of these interactions is vital for developing effective antiviral therapies and vaccines. However, 99% of experimentally determined binary host-viral interactions currently lack structural information. We aimed to address this gap by leveraging computational protein structure prediction methods.
