Why Corporate Events Are Bigger Than Ever - Corporate Meetings Network
Something is happening in the corporate events industry that hasn't happened at this scale before. Live, in-person events aren't just recovering from years of virtual-first programming-they're surging past pre-pandemic levels with higher attendance expectations, larger production footprints, and audiences that arrive with fundamentally different standards for what a corporate event should feel and look like. For corporate planners, the message is clear: showing up is no longer enough.
Biomarkers of nivolumab benefit in resectable non-small cell lung cancer
|
Abstract Perioperative nivolumab significantly improved event-free survival (EFS) compared with placebo in patients with resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in the CheckMate 77T study (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT04025879)1. Here, after randomization, 98 out of 229 patients who received nivolumab and 92 out of 232 patients who received placebo had evaluable biomarkers (41% of randomized patients).

Understanding In-House AV Limitations
If you’ve ever booked a conference, product launch, or awards gala at a hotel or convention centre, you’ve encountered in-house AV. It’s presented as a convenience—the venue’s preferred or exclusive audiovisual provider, already on-site, already familiar with the room. For a boardroom meeting or a basic presentation, it works fine.
Thymic health and immunotherapy outcomes in patients with cancer
|
Abstract Although immunotherapy has revolutionized cancer treatment, many patients still experience limited benefit, highlighting the urgent need for improved biomarkers1. Although immunotherapy is founded on unleashing T cells2, most existing biomarkers remain tumour-centric and mainly overlook host immune competence. The thymus is a key immune organ that is crucial for T cell maturation, and we hypothesized that thymic functionality is associated with immunotherapy outcomes3.

Graph neural network modeling of spatial tumor-immune interactions identifies prognostic cellular niches in non‑small cell lung cancer - npj Precision Oncology
Abstract The spatial organization of immune and tumor cells within the tumor microenvironment (TME) has a critical influence on antitumor immunity and patient survival. However, hand-engineered metrics such as cell densities or pairwise proximity scores fail to capture the complexity of local cell-cell interactions. Understanding these higher-order spatial patterns and their relation to patient outcomes is especially important for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the deadliest cancer worldwide.
Maximizing ROI in Event Production
In the world of corporate events — from conferences and meetings to trade shows and award shows — production budgets are often treated as a necessary expense. Yet in reality, event production and audio visual production are among the most powerful tools for generating measurable return on investment (ROI). ROI in event production isn’t limited to head counts or applause.

Selecting AV Partner: Beyond the RFP
When planning a major event – whether it’s a product launch, sales conference, corporate party, or awards gala – selecting the right creative audio visual (AV) production partner is crucial. These events are major extensions of your brand, requiring partners who understand that every touchpoint matters. In an industry where many companies claim similar capabilities, how do you identify a true partner who can transform your event from standard to extraordinary?
Neoadjuvant Nivolumab Plus Ipilimumab Versus Chemotherapy in Resectable Lung Cancer
Introduction PD-(L)1 immune checkpoint inhibitor–based regimens have recently expanded neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatment options for resectable non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Nivolumab, a PD-1 antibody, combined with chemotherapy is now a standard neoadjuvant treatment for eligible patients with resectable NSCLC.

Increased Tumor Mutation Burden Levels and Sensitivity of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer to PD-L1 Blockade-Reply
Increased Tumor Mutation Burden Levels and Sensitivity of Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer to PD-L1 Blockade—Reply In Reply We thank Aslan et al and Zhang and Zhang for their interest in our cohort study on the association of tumor mutation burden (TMB) with clinical outcomes to programmed cell death–1 (PD-1) or PD-1 ligand (PD-L1) blockade across PD-L1 expression levels in non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).1 As Aslan et al noted, retrospective analyses suggest that both platinum-based...

JASPER: Phase 2 trial of first‐line niraparib plus pembrolizumab in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer
Abstract Background Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors may synergize with programmed cell death receptor-1 (PD-1) inhibitors to enhance adaptive and innate antitumor immune responses. In the phase 2 JASPER study (NCT04475939), the PARP inhibitor niraparib was evaluated in combination with the PD-1 inhibitor pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic and/or locally advanced non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
High Sensitivity of Plasma Cell-Free DNA Genotyping in Cases With Evidence of Adequate Tumor Content
PURPOSE Plasma cell-free DNA (cfDNA) sequencing is a compelling diagnostic tool in solid tumors and has been shown to have high positive predictive value. However, limited assay sensitivity means that negative plasma genotyping, or the absence of detection of mutation of interest, still requires reflex tumor biopsy.
A Phase Ib Trial of Personalized Neoantigen Therapy Plus Anti-PD-1 in Patients with Advanced Melanoma, Non-small Cell Lung Cancer, or Bladder Cancer
Highlights • The personalized neoantigen vaccine Neo-PV-01 plus nivolumab is feasible and safe • NEO-PV-01 plus nivolumab stimulates durable neoantigen-specific T cell reactivity • NEO-PV-01-specific T cells have cytotoxic potential and can traffic to the tumor • NEO-PV-01 induces epitope spreading consistent with vaccine-mediated tumor cytotoxicity Summary Neoantigens arise from mutations in cancer cells and are important targets of T cell-mediated anti-tumor immunity.

Pembrolizumab or Placebo Plus Etoposide and Platinum as First-Line Therapy for Extensive-Stage Small-Cell Lung Cancer: Randomized, Double-Blind, Phase III KEYNOTE-604 Study | Journal of Clinical Oncology
Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive neuroendocrine malignancy strongly associated with tobacco use that accounts for approximately 15% of all lung cancers.1 SCLC is characterized by a rapid doubling time and high growth fraction, and approximately two thirds of patients present with metastases at diagnosis.2 The 5-year survival rate for patients with SCLC is only approximately 6%-7%.3,4 Despite extensive study of different combinations, standard-of-care first-line therapy for...

Tumor Mutational Burden and Efficacy of Nivolumab Monotherapy and in Combination with Ipilimumab in Small-Cell Lung Cancer
Durable responses and encouraging survival have been demonstrated with immune checkpoint inhibitors in small-cell lung cancer (SCLC), but predictive markers are unknown. We used whole exome sequencing to evaluate the impact of tumor mutational burden on efficacy of nivolumab monotherapy or combined with ipilimumab in patients with SCLC from the nonrandomized or randomized cohorts of CheckMate 032.
Impaired c-Met Receptor Degradation Mediated by MET Exon 14 Mutations in Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer
Although lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide,1 remarkable treatment advances have been made for patients with non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors harbor targetable somatic mutations in genes such as EGFR,2-4 ALK,5-7 ROS1,8,9 and BRAF.10 For metastatic lung cancers in which genotype-directed therapies are not available, platinum-based chemotherapy remains the standard-of-care first-line therapy, and the median overall survival for this group of...
