SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating after Savannah police said two officers were involved in a fatal shooting with a man Tuesday morning near Bull Street and Victory Drive. Savannah police said the shooting happened just after 7:15 a.m. The shooting left a 35-year-old man dead, according to the GBI. The GBI said Savannah police requested the investigation after Nicholaus Oxendine, of Savannah, was shot and killed.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is looking into a shooting involving a Savannah police officer Tuesday morning near the intersection of Bull Street and Victory Drive. Savannah police officials confirmed that around 7:18 a.m. two of their officers were involved in a shooting with a suspect. SPD said their officers had minor injuries. No word on the condition of the suspect. There was a large police presence at Bull and Victory through the Tuesday morning commute.
