FARMINGDALE, Maine (WABI) - Nine Maine high schoolers graduated Friday from Central Maine Power's expanded Union Trade Internship after 10 weeks of hands-on training in line and substation operations. Students demonstrated what they learned during the internship for their families at the training yard. Program offers early career exposure CMP President and CEO Linda Ball said the program gives students early exposure to a high-voltage career.

SKOWHEGAN, Maine (WABI) — Student groups Your Mind Matters and Becoming the Change joined forces to support the fourth annual back-to-school clothing and supply drive at the Skowhegan Tewksbury Building. Volunteers of all ages spent their summer vacation collecting and sorting through piles of shoes, accessories and clothes ranging from newborn up to plus sizes.
