ERa-induced m 6 A reader HNRNPC maintains DDX6 mRNA stability to promote tumor progression in ER+BC
Abstract Breast cancer (BC) remains a major threat to women’s health globally. The RNA m6A modification and its readers, such as heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein C (HNRNPC), which is upregulated in multiple cancers, play critical roles in tumorigenesis. We assessed gene/protein expression (RT-qPCR, western blot) and cellular functions. Molecular mechanisms involving HNRNPC, DDX6, and m6A modifications were deciphered using RIP, meRIP, ChIP, and RNA pull-down assays.
AI-driven virtual standardized patients combined with scenario-based simulation in anesthesiology training: a randomized pilot study

Altitudinal Variation in Trade-Off Strategies of the Plant Economics Spectrum of Pinus massoniana Plantations in Subtropical Mountains
1 Introduction Plant functional traits serve as a critical bridge linking plants to their environments, as they independently or synergistically characterize plant- and ecosystem-level responses to environmental changes, thereby elucidating plant survival strategies and distribution patterns (Diaz et al. 2016; Lavorel 2013; Reich 2014; Reich et al. 2003).
Targeting of solute carrier family 1 member 1 that links metabolic reprogramming and ferroptosis sensitivity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma
Abstract Solute carrier family 1 member 1 (SLC1A1, also known as excitatory amino acid transporter 3) is a member of the EAAT family of sodium-dependent glutamate carriers. Ferroptosis is a nonapoptotic cell death that is caused by phospholipid peroxidation promoted by radical reactions involving iron. Here, we identify SLC1A1 as a driver of ferroptosis resistance in PDAC cells and delineate the cause of its upregulation. SLC1A1 was overexpressed in PDAC tumors and correlated with poorer prognosis.

Cascade gaseous Raman laser at 2.6 μm in sequential multiple-pass cells
We reported a cascade gaseous stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) laser for efficient generation of 2.6 μm mid-infrared radiation. The system employed two sequential seven-pass cells. A 1064 nm Nd:YAG pump laser was first converted to 1907 nm first-Stokes radiation in a H2-filled cell. This output then served as the pump for a second cell filled with CO2, generating the final output at 2594 nm. This dual-cell configuration effectively extended the wavelength to the targeted spectral region.

Eliminating the negative pore synergy in hierarchical porous metal-organic frameworks for isomer separation - Nature Communications
Abstract Hierarchical porous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) integrating micro- and mesopores hold promise for advanced separations but often suffer from understudied negative pore synergy, where interconnected pores compromise selectivity and diffusion. Using the zirconium-based porous coordination network (PCN) PCN-608 as a model, we identify that rapid analyte translocation between meso-hexagonal and micro-triangular channels induces chaotic diffusion, undermining separation efficiency.
