Differential locus coeruleus–hippocampus interactions during offline states
eLife Assessment This important study provides new insights into the neuronal dynamics of the locus coeruleus in relation to hippocampal sharp-wave ripples. Using high-temporal-resolution, multi-site electrophysiological recordings in rats, the authors present convincing evidence that ripples and locus coeruleus activity are inversely correlated to levels of arousal and noradrenaline tone is modulated by hippocampo-cortical coupling.

Quadruped mobile manipulation requires two tightly coupled capabilities: reaching manipulation-ready configurations and maintaining stable contact throughout articulated-object interaction. However, existing methods often terminate navigation near the target, leaving a gap between reachability and manipulation readiness, while tracking lag, motion jitter, and contact instability limit continuous interaction.

Runtime thermal management of high-performance chips depends on fast and accurate full-chip thermal maps. Conventional simulators typically estimate power traces from performance metrics first, which adds overhead. This work proposes TherMapNet, an attention-guided thermal simulator that predicts full-chip thermal maps directly from performance metrics.
Tailoring packing sequences in van der Waals metal–organic frameworks
Conductive van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (vdW–MOFs) are an emerging class of electronic materials whose properties are highly sensitive to layer stacking. Now, a strategy enables precise control over the stacking structures of vdW–MOFs by using solvents to direct the formation of metastable supramolecular ligand aggregates prior to framework assembly.
A LODDS and PNI–based personalized prognostic model for patients with gastric cancer receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy
Abstract Background: This study aimed to develop and validate a risk stratification model incorporating the log odds of positive lymph nodes (LODDS) and the prognostic nutritional index (PNI) to predict outcomes in patients with locally advanced gastric cancer (LAGC) undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). Methods: A retrospective cohort of patients with NAC–LAGC who underwent radical gastrectomy between January 2016 and January 2025 was enrolled.
Large-scale, spatially resolved panoramic CRISPR screening in native tissue environments using Perturb-DBiT
|
Abstract Spatially resolved CRISPR screening in vivo has been limited to small perturbation panels and subsets of protein-coding RNAs. We present Perturb-DBiT, a method for co-sequencing of spatial total RNA whole transcriptomes and single guide RNAs (sgRNAs) on the same tissue section in situ.

Charting human cellular senescence in aging and disease
Main text Cellular senescence was first recognized in long-term in vitro cultures, where cells eventually ceased dividing yet remained metabolically active.
A spatial multi-omics atlas of immunosenescence reveals germinal-center B cell alteration in human lymph nodes
|
To investigate senescence-associated and age-related changes in human LNs, we analyzed whole LN resections or needle biopsy tissue blocks from 65 donors (41 males and 24 females; 108 total samples) obtained through the Yale Pathology Tissue Service. LN tissue samples were stratified into three age groups: group 1 (<50 years, n = 26), group 2 (50–69 years, n = 15), and group 3 (≥70 years, n = 10), with median ages of 32, 56, and 75 years, respectively (Figures 1 and S1; Table S1).

Study on the influence of inducer and its guide vanes on cryogenic cavitation and pressure fluctuation characteristics of an LNG pump
Abstract Liquefied natural gas (LNG) pumps are prone to cavitation under cryogenic operation. This study establishes a numerical model to investigate the influence of an inducer and its guide vanes on the cavitation and pressure fluctuation characteristics of a two-stage LNG pump. Simulations with and without the inducer were conducted using a thermodynamically modified Zwart-Gerber-Belamri cavitation model and the SST k-ω turbulence model.
Spatially decoding genotype-associated epigenetic landscapes in human lymphoma FFPE tissues via epi-Patho-DBiT
Abstract While formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples are invaluable for human non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma translational research, effective methods for spatial profiling of chromatin accessibility and histone modifications in these tissues remain limited.

Identification and Functional Characterization of Soybean Microexon in Response to Saline-Alkali Stress
1 Introduction Soybean (Glycine max) is an imperative crop due to its high protein and oil content. However, the salt-alkali stress poses challenge to soybean production. Elevated salt concentrations exert multiple adverse effects on soybean, including osmotic stress due to reduced water availability, cellular dehydration, and disruptions in ion homeostasis caused by the excessive accumulation of sodium and chloride ions (Feng et al. 2023).

Real‐time detection of somatostatin release from single islets reveals hypersecretion in type 2 diabetes
1 INTRODUCTION The peptide somatostatin is an important paracrine regulator of various physiological processes in the central nervous system, the gastrointestinal tract, and the pancreatic islets of Langerhans.1, 2 In islets, somatostatin is produced by δ-cells, which constitute ~5% of the endocrine islet cell population.3 Despite their relatively low abundance, δ-cells make close contacts with many insulin-secreting β-cells and glucagon-secreting α-cells via their extended processes,4, 5 and...

Spectroscopic Relationship between XOD and TAOZHI Total Polyphenols Based on Chemometrics and Molecular Docking Techniques
1. Introduction Xanthine oxidase (XOD) is a pivotal enzyme that facilitates the oxidation of xanthine/hypoxanthine to uric acid [1]. It plays a crucial role in the biosynthesis of purine to uric acid in various organisms. Hyperuricaemia is a condition characterised by the accumulation of uric acid in the body, exceeding the capacity for excretion [2]. Allopurinol is a pharmaceutical agent that has been granted clinical approval for the treatment of hyperuricaemia [3].

New isolates refine the ecophysiology of the Roseobacter CHAB-I-5 lineage
Abstract The CHAB-I-5 cluster is a pelagic lineage that can comprise a significant proportion of all roseobacters in surface oceans and have predicted roles in biogeochemical cycling via heterotrophy, aerobic anoxygenic photosynthesis (AAnP), CO oxidation, DMSP degradation, and other metabolisms. Though cultures of CHAB-I-5 have been reported, none have been explored and the best known representative, strain SB2, was lost from culture after obtaining the genome sequence.

ZnO-CoS heterostructure quantum dots for enhanced electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction to ammonia
ZnO-CoS heterostructure quantum dots for enhanced electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction to ammonia Electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction (NRR) is considered a promising way for the synthesis of ammonia under environmental conditions. At present, due to the difficulty of N2 activation in the NRR process and the competition of HER, the development of NRR is seriously hindered, so it is necessary to develop efficient NRR catalysts.
