(InvestigateTV) — More Americans are taking out personal loans to cover everyday expenses, according to new data from LendingTree, with the share of borrowers using loans for basic bills more than doubling in three years. LendingTree found 8.2 percent of Americans now take out personal loans for everyday bills, up from 3.4 percent just three years ago. Among all age groups, Gen Z is the most likely to rely on loans to make ends meet.
