Phosphorylation of IRS4 at YY111/112 promotes LUSC progression via PI3K/AKT pathway activation
Abstract Lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) lacks effective targeted therapies despite frequent hyperactivation of the PI3K/AKT pathway, and the contribution of adaptor proteins to this process remains poorly defined. Here, we identify Insulin Receptor Substrate 4 (IRS4) as a common substrate of Src kinase and the phosphatase RPTPα, and uncover a previously unrecognized, conserved phosphorylation site at YY111/112 within the IRS4 PH domain.
Response-function-conditioned inverse design enables disorder as a design dimension in porous materials
Abstract Disordered porous materials offer broad mechanical-response spaces, but their non-periodic three-dimensional architectures make inverse design ill-posed: structurally distinct configurations can produce similar stress-strain curves, while scalar descriptors such as porosity cannot resolve the underlying topology.
NDM-Producing Escherichia coli subdural empyema mimicking chronic subdural hematoma: a case report
Abstract Background: Subdural empyema is a life-threatening intracranial infection that may mimic chronic subdural hematoma on non-contrast computed tomography (CT), delaying diagnosis and source control. Intracranial infection caused by New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase (NDM)-producing Escherichia coli is rare and may be overlooked when bloodstream infection appears microbiologically controlled. Case presentation: An 82-year-old man presented with fever and progressive neurological deterioration.
The Optimal Binding Function for (Cap, Even Hole)-Free Graphs
1 Introduction All graphs in this paper are finite and simple. We follow Bondy and Murty [1] for undefined notations and terminologies. Let G = ( V , E ) $G=(V,E)$ be a graph. Let N G ( v ) ${N}_{G}(v)$ be the set of neighbors of v $v$ , and let the degree of v $v$ be d G ( v ) ≔ ∣ N G ( v ) ∣ ${d}_{G}(v):= | {N}_{G}(v)| $ . If it does not cause any confusion, we usually omit the subscript G $G$ . Let X $X$ be a subset of V ( G ) $V(G)$ .

Preparation and application of sweet flavorings using green tea powder via Maillard reaction
Abstract To develop a novel sweet flavor, enzymatic hydrolysate of baking green tea powder was used as the base material. The optimal enzymatic hydrolysis conditions were determined through single-factor and orthogonal experiments. After enzymatic hydrolysis, montmorillonite was employed to remove caffeine, yielding a Maillard reaction substrate. Exogenous sugars and amino acids were then added for the Maillard reaction, and volatile components of the reaction products were analyzed by GC-MS.

Targeting the TRIM25–AGO2–miR-148b-5p–ABCC1 axis overcomes chemoresistance in non-small cell lung cancer
Abstract Despite significant advances in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), acquired resistance remains a major obstacle in advanced stages. Elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying resistance is crucial for improving clinical outcomes, overcoming therapeutic limitations, and developing effective combination strategies. Here, we identify TRIM25 as a key driver of tumor progression and chemoresistance by promoting the destabilization of AGO2.
Phosphorylation of PfiA modulates Pf4 phage production through PfiA/PfiT stoichiometric reconfiguration in Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Abstract Filamentous Pf bacteriophages are widely distributed in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and profoundly influence biofilm formation and host virulence. The Pf4 prophage encodes a type II toxin-antitoxin (TA) system, PfiAT, modulating Pf4 propagation; however, its mechanistic role remains unclear. Here, through structural and biochemical analysis, we demonstrate that the PfiT toxin (ParE/RelE superfamily) has a unique C-terminal extension essential for TA complex formation.

It is typified by infections, ulcers, and/or deep - tissue damage stemming from peripheral neuropathy and vascular complications in the lower limbs of diabetic patients. The pathogenesis of DF is intricate and multi-factorial, encompassing interrelated mechanisms like infection, micro-and macrovascular diseases, and neurological impairment (2).
Synergistic reprogramming of the tumor immune microenvironment by Senecavirus A and STING agonist - Oncogene
Abstract Stimulator of interferon genes (STING) agonists have shown promise in cancer immunotherapy by enhancing type I interferon (IFN-I) signaling. However, the antiviral effects of IFN-I can suppress viral replication, limiting their combination with oncolytic viruses. This study demonstrates that combining a naturally isolated Senecavirus A (SVA) strain with the STING agonist MSA-2 supports synergistic IFN-I activation across multiple tumor models.
