MEDFORD, Ore. -- A Medford man wanted on 18 child sex crime charges was arrested Thursday following an hours-long standoff in south Medford, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office reported. JCSO said 38-year-old Glenn Edward Rise barricaded himself inside a residence in the 3400 block of South Pacific Highway on April 2 before being taken into custody by the Southern Oregon Child Exploitation Team. Rise faces 18 charges, including first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse.
